For seller: i bought cut60dn & machine torch. i am trying to cut (using hand torch), but i only get a pilot arc. never converts to cutting arc. help?

Could be a few things. Check to make sure 1) your air is connected and at the correct pressure, 2) the torch parts are assembled correctly and making good contact. I have not used my new plasma cutter yet but my old thermal dynamics was also a great machine but was really sensitive to the fit of the consumables. If they were off brand replacements they didn’t always work. I would have to swap out different electrodes and mix and match sometimes to get it working. Not sure if that’s what you are describing but it was an issue for me.

what is the recommended SCFM air outputfor this machine?

It is recommended to choose an air compressor with an air flow rate of 1.77SCF/min or more

Besides the 60% duty cycle at 55amps, what reduced level of amps would allow a 100% duty cycle for CNC cutting work?

When adjust to around 45A ,can allow a 100% duty cycle for CNC cutting work
