My husband had his last OtterBox for more than 6 years. It was finally time for another one. This one seems lighter and he loves it. He has never had a scratch or broken screen ever. We both are totally sold on this brand because our phones are protected and never have to worry when you drop them. Will continue to buy every time.

These protectors are the best. This one replaces a two year old one that did crack on a drop (after hundreds). I have used these on my iPhones since the first one and have never had so much as a scratch on a phone. My very first iPhone was saved after I foolishly laid it on the car roof while loading the car. As these are rubber on the back, the phone did not slide off the roof and into freeway traffic after I forgot it was there and took off. I realized I didn’t have it, took the next exit and there it was! I don’t recommend trying this but just more evidence that this little box is far superior to paying for insurance. Up to this one, I have bought new ones only when getting a new phone that didn’t fit. Nearly was able to use the case from my 6S on the new SE, as they are the same size, but the flash light is positioned differently and the old case covered it. All in all, a great product!! Highly recommend!

This is my third purchase and my phone still looks like new in spite of a few drops and spills. Never had a broken screen! I wear this on my belt while I'm hiking Stone Mountain, cycling, working in the yard, and doing errands. My only complaint is that after a while the plastic on the home button degrades so that the fingerprint reader no longer works (forcing you to use the phone password). Photo is of my previous case. I fell on it, breaking the side latch, but the case fully protected my phone.

Solid case! my third one for as many phones

I have always been a fan of the OtterBox iPhone cases, because of their protection. For every iPhone I have ever had, I have always bought an OtterBox case. My sister has always bought the cases as well, and so has my dad, who is an electrician and requires extra phone protection. I am a clumsy person, and I often drop my phone, so it is important for me to have a phone case that protects my phone as much as possible. According to OtterBox, the case can help “Defend your device from drops, dirt and daily adventures.” I somewhat agree with this statement. The phone case definitely protected my device from almost daily drops. I have found that my phone can come out unscathed when dropped from heights of even ten feet. I have not dropped it from a higher height than ten feet, but I believe that my phone would survive the fall with an OtterBox case. However, I will argue that the case does not do a great job at protecting my phone from dirt. If my phone ever falls in dirt or in sand, it will get into the speaker area, where the case is open. However, I will admit that it is easier to get dirt out of the speaker area than the charging port. Since the charging port is more important, I will agree that the case does protect the important areas of the phone from dirt and sand. The only problem that I have had with the OtterBox cases in the past has been the back of the case peeling off. As one of the more negative reviews of this product says, “This is a complete piece of garbage. The Touch ID doesn’t work well through the cover, and (almost immediately after the return window ended), the back started peeling.” I do not agree that this product is “a complete piece of garbage”, but I do agree that the back has peeled off in the past. However, this model does seem to be built differently, in a way that does not allow for the back to peel up easily. I have also contacted OtterBox in the past because of this problem, and they have sent me a new case free of charge. I also do not agree with the review that the Touch ID does not work with the case. I have never had a problem with the Touch ID not working because of the protective film. Overall, I do not agree with the comment, because I have not found these problems to be true with this new version of the OtterBox case. Some may argue that the case is too bulky to be practical. Although I do agree that the case is bulky, it is the bulk that creates the protection that keeps my phone working and uncracked. I think that the positives of the protection outweigh the negatives of the bulkiness and thickness. If you are looking for a phone case that is slim and attractive, this is not the case for you. If you are looking for a case that will protect your phone from the elements and from various damage however, this is the case for you.

I got the new iPhone SE an told the wife I'm never getting a case. She said the way you drop things get that otter case. I have nerve damage an have a hard time holding things so this case was a great idea. I've had it a month an it's likely saved my phone a dozen times. As you can see in the pic the screen protector has already taken a beaten. I drop it daily an it's still in great shape. Thanks otter box. Gamer_gramps on twitch
