Love the wild flowers but these are a little expensive.

Nice idea and Well received secret santa gift. Seeds were on my recipients secret santa wishlist and this tin was just over the £5 gift price we had set but looked like a nice way of presenting seeds. When it arrived I thought it was very small and worried it would look like a pitiful gift to give. (Although these days theres not much one can buy for a fiver) However the recipient loved it. She somehow found out it was me that was her secret santa and said she cant wait to grow the flowers.

I purchased these along with a bee friendly seed pack so it is hard to say which product grew which flowers. We seemed to get a lot of blue flowers (see attached photos) and the garden became overgrown very quickly which unfortunately didn't help our mining bees who had nested there. Not sure I would purchase again.

On this review I cannot comment whether the seeds have or will grow, however as an unusual gift, which will give to those friends who will receive them hope of an abundance of flowers in the spring and summer. Why five stars you may ask, well it's a great present idea, lots of my friends are getting them for Christmas, a lovely little tin of seeds, along with brilliant information as to how they should be planted and nurtured. I love the idea, have not seen them before, and rather than keep a stash of chocolates in the cupboard as little go away gifts for people who pop in unexpectedly guess what's in my cupboard!!! There is an amazing selection of varying seeds, so check what you are buying before you click.

Lovely idea these seed balls and a good selection to choose from. However, the tin container is incredibly difficult to open. I think it’s a combination of what the tin is made from, inadequate thread on the lid and the tin is so small there’s not much to grip whilst unscrewing the lid. We now have to leave the lid off!!

Bought several boxes of these, planted months ago (sown April, now August) in a few different locations, yet to see anything. Maybe they'll appear next year. Great in theory, but yet to see any results. I live in hope. Hope disappearing. Now November and none of these appeared. Four tins, nothing to show for it. Extremely disappointed in this purchase. Taking another star off accordingly. Seller proclaims “✮ Germination and growing results are the responsibility of the purchaser, factors such as planting time, watering, pest presence and weather conditions will influence successful growth. As SEEDBALL cannot control these we cannot be held responsible for non-germinating seeds.” All seeds planted/scattered in a variety of ground/grass types, all sufficiently propagated,certainly no droughts nor extreme weather. As for ‘pests’ beyond sellers’ control, the chilli should take care of the majority. Again. Disappointed. Arrived quickly and promptly. Can’t wait to plant these in the spring! If all goes well, will buy more variety. Great value for money!

I love seeing the butterflies in my garden. I have a lot of plants for them. With these seeds in Spring I'll have a lot more. Instructions easy to follow. Gets 5-5. Great stocking filler to help out the family grow plants for the butterflies.

Diese Samenbomben sehen aus wie von Mistkäfern gerollte Kügelchen, aber ich möchte wetten wären es welche wären daraus auch irgend welche Pflanzen gekommen. Ich halte alle diese "SEED-Bombs) Samen Bomben für einen riesiegen Betrug. Ich habe 5 Packungen erworben um meinen Balkon vor Blütenpracht explodieren zu lassen. Hmm-Meine altmodischen einfachen Samen ergaben Blumen, aber die SAMEN BOMBEN haben sich nur der Blumenerde angepasst und so sieht man nur eine große Erdstrecke ohne jeglichem Keim. Selber Schuld wers kauft.

Ich habe die Seedballs vor einigen Wochen in meiner Umgebung verteilt, auf Grünflächen und auf ungenutzten kahlen Ecken in der Innenstadt. Die Bedingungen waren eigentlich bisher gut, es gab genug Regen und warme Tage und auch keine nächtlichen Frosteinbrüche. Drei habe ich sogar zum Test in Blumentöpfe auf der Fensterbank eingesetzt, also unter Optimalbedingungen mit regelmäßigem Gießen. Dennoch ist bisher kein einziger Samen aufgegangen. Und das, obwohl auf einer der von mir bearbeiteten Verkehrsinseln ein Kollege ein paar Krokusse gestzt hat die wunderbar erblühten. Ich werde wohl demnächst einfach im Gartenladen für einen Euro Blumenwiesen-Mischung kaufen und verteilen.
