Great replacement, worked straight away.

Little lighter than the original but works perfectly with the Humax recorder. No set up needed, just inserted the batteries and all good.

Arrived in good new condition, I put the batteries in and it worked fine, I didn't have to reconfigure anything even though the instructions says put code in. I just pressed the buttons and it worked. So far it's good, I gave a 4* for now, I'll see what it's like in a couple of months.

Exactly the same as original, completely functional at reasonable cost, delivered on time. Recommended.

Having looked at some of the 1-star reviews, I nearly did not buy this item but as some reviews may be for slightly different products, I thought I would try it. I am only one day in but, it is working exactly as I had hoped. It is a direct replacement for the original, all the buttons are in the same place and the pressure pads give a satisfying click when pressed. So far, I am delighted and recommend it as a replacement for the Humax RM-L08 Follow up July 2024. Having been pleased with the initial purchase I am now about to throw it away. The unit is malfunctioning, and I am having to hold it at an angle for it to transmit a signal to my Humax box. It has become unreliable and verry annoying to try and use. I have made sure it is clean and has new batteries, but it has become useless. Unfortunately, It is past its return date and I can't be bothered to try and contact the supplier. Piece of rubbish.

Worked immediately straight out of the box which we were concerned it may not which was a pleasant surprise that it did. Its relatively good value for money depending how long it lasts. All the buttons functioned straight out of the box which is good as its for my grandparents so needed too be a simple work straight out of the box which made it easy to use. Build quality hard too say given that its still new but as long as it lasts I am happy.

I bought this last June and eight months later the central button to display recordings has stopped working. I know they’re not expensive, but I think it should have lasted a year at least.
