IYKYK! Nothing like having the right tool to change out the plastic liner for a metallic one.

Package arrived on time. A needed device if you have to change out the firing pin sleeve on your Glock slide. The treaded end is for removing and the finished end is for installing. This tool also has smooth notches on the sides so a wrench can be used to help thread the threaded end deep into the existing sleeve. You have to give a good pull to remove the existing sleeve but the treads will hold it. Installation was even easier with the tool. Just slide the new sleeve onto the finished end and push the tool all the way in. There is a collar to stop at the right depth. Good quality and a great price.

It works as described and the build quality is decent. I picked this over the cheaper versions of this tool because it can be used to remove the liner as well but it doesn't come with the NEEDED accessory to do so -1 star because the value perceived with the extra ability to remove the liner isnt there. I just took a pick and ripped out the old one being careful not to scratch or damage the inside of the channel. Also there are 2 different sharp edges left there from the machining process and there is no reason it should be there other than its maybe for the "accessary" not included another -1 star. Seems to me if you say a tool can do something it should be able to do it without having to purchase another part for that tool if its not mentioned. It would be like purchasing a new wireless drill and it not coming with the battery with no mention of that. Would I recommend or buy as a gift for someone no I would just say get a wood dowel from a hardware store.

Solid construction, allows removal and installation, where some versions only installation. Thread side will destroy the liner, but it's the only way to remove the old one. Some other versions are plastic, thin and cheap. It has a hole for you to put a cross bar through, but it's not included. Wrench flat cut into tool to help tighten threaded side, I needed it removing my liner. It was worth the cost.

I bought one to use on a Glock clone which uses pen Glock parts but I just went to remove the liner and the threaded part doesn’t screw into the plastic liner so it doesn’t pull the liner out. Looks good works to put in but doesn’t get the job done that is needed.
