This is a great safety switch for your router table or other power tool equipment. The only downfall is that it is not a magnetically held start meaning that if the power goes out, the unit will restart when power is restored. They have a magnetically held switch, but it did not have the paddle stop button. This one work very well for my application. The construction is very good and the size is just right.

I recently purchased a second hand router table that although was very good in design and function, didn't come with a switch of any kind. For safe operation, you definitely need a start/stop switch on the front side of the table, ideally with a paddle stop function. I ordered this one and was very pleased with its appearance, function and build quality. It does the job for a very reasonable price!

I couldn't figure out how to make the connections correctly so had to hire an electrician. It now works great.

Good switch. Much safer that the old pushbutton that was hard to start and stop. Large shutoff paddle is great improvement. I installed this switch on an old Delta lathe.

Replaced the old switch on a home-made router table with this unit. I liked the additional safety of having the large paddle off switch and located it where I could activate it with my knee in an emergency. The unit is well built, easy to install and has a high voltage rating so I could safely use even my three-horsepower router.

I thought it was broken at first because of how hard it was to press the start button. Then I realized how that is kind of a smart safety feature. I would rather be certain I want it on rather than accidentally tapping it on. The stop is well responsive. For me theres nothing else needed. turns on the router without delay and there are two mounting screw slots... had one that only had one and it was frustrating getting it secure.

A well made switch with a quality cord and plug. I installed it on my router table. No chance of accidentally turning it on as it takes a definite push of the recessed green button to activate. A slight bump of the red off-paddle instantly cuts the power. I use my knee.
