Hi.As i knew of amazon policies,items bought at amazon can be returned.this is expensive item,you should think before carefully before buying,to be fair to the seller/amazon as well.I think it is not acceptable if you buy just to try,if you wish to do so,you should go to babyshop and see the physical products before buying.I also have returned this item before but only because the pump was faulty.Hope this helps

Q: Are there any parts that have to be replaced regularly? I remember seeing a review for Medela that membrane/v have to be bought & replaced for hygeine

Hi.the yellow membrane is easily wear off over time of usage.estimated 6-8months to last before replacing new ones,if taken care properly.Don’t soak long duration in the chemical solutions/steriliser and don’t use UV steriliser for the membrane as it damages the structure.
