The Kelly Kettle is a fantastic asset for outdoor activities and camping. It will work with a meths Trangia cooker and boils water easily on one fill of meths with time left over. Well made piece of kit. Not 'lightweight' but fine for cars and short hikes to a campsite. The items that come with it are all high-quality steel and looking at how much I'd have to pay for them separately it's fairly good value for money.

The kettle itself is perfect. Brilliant. Yet the delivery. Royal mail. Delivered to wrong house same house number but completely different street name. A sweet old lady hand delivered it to my house on her mobility scooter. Yet it was opened and she saw what was inside and how much I paid for it. Had she not been a kind soul. She could have sold it. Or kept it. The lady was sweet and kind to bring it to me. Royal mail need to learn how to read street names or employ more people. The Kelly Kettle however is perfect. Royal mail was negligible and had this ended differently someone would have been out of pocket.

Well where do I start with this cracking bit of kit !!! Great Value. Very well made. You get so much in the kit and it all fits nicely in the bag supplied. By the time fires lit and kettle's on, its just enough time to get out cups, put tea bags in, sugar and check fire its just about on the boil. Good to cook on. Fast if your good with fires. Just watch what you put it on as it burns due to heat, park bench will go black so put on stone or slate roof tile I use. If your thinking, do think too long, just go buy it NOW. Great fun to use , no gas or fuel to carry around , good for fishing etc , its not for those who just want food heated asap , but if you like to be more involved with the whole heating water and cooking it is perfect

Il kit è di una qualità chr si sente, tutti i pezzi presenti e imballati alla perfezione. Istruzioni chiare. Unico neo è che alla prima volta la giunzione alla base del bollitore perdeva acqua. Ho risolto facendo una guarnizione con sigillante per alte temperature tutto attorno. Per il resto ottimo kit.

J'annule mon commentaire précédent : je n'avais pas vu que le réservoir d'eau se trouve bien sous le bec verseur. Mais au premier coup d'oeil ça ne se voit pas. Lorsqu'on regarde en dessous on ne voit pas la double paroi et le réservoir. Je n'ai pas encore testé mais j'ai confiance (après les explications du service client). Génial ce "tout en un" (les accessoires qui s'emboitent sous la bouilloire, pas de problème de rangement) cette "dinette" pour adultes est bien pensée. HG

Ich bin zwar auch Camper, habe das jetzt aber vor allem als Notfallset gekauft. Wollte ursprünglich nur den Kessel, habe aber gesehen, dass der Mehrpreis für das ganze andere Zubehör nicht besonders hoch ist. Ich muss sagen, dass die Qualität mich erstaunt, dafür ist das Set fast schon ein „Schnäpper“. Auch das Zusatzzubehör ist offenbar nicht lieblos dazugekauft, sondern wirklich sehr gut gemacht und verarbeitet. Es „fasst sich gut an“. Die Teller, Tassen, der Topf und der Greifarm sind wirklich auch groß genug und tatsächlich brauchbar. Die Teller sind auch recht tief, so dass man aus ihnen auch Suppe essen kann (was er nicht ganz fern liegt, wenn das Ding zum Wasserkochen da ist). Man muss eigentlich nur noch etwas Besteck und Brennstoff dazu tun und dann kann der Atomkrieg kommen ;-) Zum Wandern ist es jetzt etwas weniger geeignet, da das set doch relativ groß ist. Wenn man mit dem Pferd oder dem Auto unterwegs ist, beim Angeln oder so - dafür ist es ideal.

Ich empfehle es jedem, der einen Notvorrat aufbaut oder in der Natur Ueberlebenskunst üben will. Ein sehr gutes Koch-Gerät, das auch im Hausinnern brauchbar ist, insofern gute Brennstoffe benützt werden. Zu betonen ist, dass es im Hausinneren nur mit Brennpaste benutzt werden kann!!! Andere Brennmaterialien, wie Zeitungspapier, Holz, Tannenzapfen, flüssigen Sprit etc, brauchen viel Sauerstoff zum Brennen. Das kann zu einem gravierenden Sauerstoffmangel führen, der schlimmstenfalls tödlich ist!!! Das Gerät ist so wertvoll, weil es wenig Brennstoff braucht und vieles als Brennstoff akzeptiert im Aussenbereich. Es ist sehr effektiv zum Kochen von Wasser und Speisen. Dass es für's Wasserkochen auch geeignet ist, finde ich gerade so wertvoll: Der Kochkessel ist doppelwändig. Man füllt den Raum zwischen den beiden Wänden mit Wasser, das durch die zentrale Flamme von unten her schnell gekocht wird! Ein wunderbares Ding, wenn der Strom ausgefallen ist und nichts mehr geht. Die wassergefüllte Schicht wird ebenso eingesetzt für's Kochen von Mahlzeiten in mitgelieferten Pfannen, eine Bratpfanne und eine Kochpfanne. Auch zwei Teller und Tassen sind dabei. Viel Romantik und Glück für den Benutzer für jedes Szenario! Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.
