Bought this for my wife’s mustang and it fits perfectly and reduces the heat significantly, would recommend

I bought this hippo shield windscreen sunshade to stop my car getting so hot on warm sunny days. So far I've placed it in window and I think it's great. Instantly I could feel the shade so I'm sure it will do the trick. I fitted mine to a Ford Fiesta. It's a touch bigger than required but because it's flexible ie the two circle panel can over lap a little and the hooped structured can deform easily, it actually helps hold it in place again the edge of the window, again it does the trick. I wasn't necessarily worried there was nothing to hold the sunshade in place, as reviews mentioned turning down the sun visors. However I initially installed without this, fitting behind the rearview mirror and wedging into the window edge as noted above. Another reason for this was my sun visors don't fold down enough to securely hold nor touch the window so if you have a bigger screen the sunshade may be a bit loose but the visors can help a little. So hence minor drop to 4 stars. However, a well designed product, easily folds, unfolds and storage bag keeps this nice and tidy when not in use. Could have perhaps benefited from a suction clip but there are ways around it. Good value and Id recommend this product.

I’ve beem but worried about this after I’ve read other reviews, but it turns out this is a fantastic piece of equipment. Very easy to use and put up, super easy to store as it folds into a tiny circle and fits back just fine into the pouch. Been using it a lot and I’m very glad I got it. It’s bigger than my Subaru Forester would need it but that doesn’t matter as its flexible so can be installed with no issue anyway.

I've got Peugeot 207 and this is more than big enough. Good coverage and stays put. Scrunch it up in bag provided when not in use.

Works really well. After a little practice is easy to fold and store in bag. Do note though the sun shade is very large and is only suitable for vehicles with very wide and deep windscreens. Unfortunately for me the car alarm (factory fit) doesn't like the sun shade and has tripped it off a few times ☹️

I found it easy to use, very flexible so it fits well - like another review said, you can 'brace' its frame against the edges of the windscreen so very adaptable. I also found that the sun visors and mirror helped to hold it in place. I really noticed the difference on a VERY hot day! I also did not have problems folding it to go back into its bag - the instructions were simple and clear. Would happily recommend this - good price, great product! Wish I'd bought it earlier!

Covers a large windscreen, silver one side, blue the other. Folds easily once you have the knack into a neat carrying bag that slides under the seat (it’s easier to stow than a concertina type). Needs the sun blinds folded down to hold in place. Check your van doesn’t have a central rear view mirror cluster attached to the windscreen; if you do (and applies to other sunshades too) it might not easily go around it. If you have no mirror, or you have one attached to cab roof, you’ll be OK.

I bought the Hippo car shade described as for an SUV (35"X63.3", 160 X 90 cm). It is a perfect fit for our Volvo XC90, which to be fair is a very large SUV. The product arrived very quickly and was well packaged. It comes in its own little storage bag so that when folded up it is about the size of a standard household food plate. It is easy to store in a car. It is very light and the material is thin but It will just be sitting in its storage bag or resting inside our windscreen so it doesn’t need to be heavy duty material. Its an £8 sunshade so I didn’t expect a thick material. There were no instructions on how to get a large sunscreen back into a very small storage bag but a quick search of YouTube and I found several instructional videos and it was safely back in its bag awaiting our holidays in seconds. I have seen lots of these screens for sale, to me they all look like a standard design with different logos printed on the front. Don’t know if it’s me being cynical or not but the product photos look very similar and prices vary widely. I think £8 for the Hippo sunshade is a very fair price.

Wir haben diesen Sonnenschutz für unseren Spanienurlaub gekauft und können ihn nur weiter empfehlen. Ich habe nicht daran geglaubt, dass nur ein Sonnenschutz an der Scheibe viel bringen kann, weil ja die Sonne das ganze Auto aufheizt. Obwohl unser Auto immer in der prallen Sonne parkte, heizte sich der Innenraum nur wenig auf. Auch das Lenkrad und die Sitze blieben kühl und wir konnten immer einfach einsteigen und losfahren. Die Investition lohn sich auf jeden Fall!!!!!!!!

Es práctico y resistente

Cumple su función perfectamente, pero lo mejor es que es extra grande, por lo que además del parabrisas, cubre parte de los laterales, haciendo que el coche se mantenga aún más fresco.

Ottimo oggetto ! Pratico e funzionale .si adatta molto bene al parabrezza della mia auto. Nonostante , da aperto sia enorme, chiuso si ripone benissimo nella tasca della portiera. Consigliato!!!
