Have you ever had a product experience so good that it stopped you in your tracks and made you go, "Oh! Wow, that's really nice!" That's this.I'm surprised to be writing a five-star review for this, because when I placed my order, I was bitter about the cost. It is, after all, a LID. Heck, why didn't the mug come with a lid in the first place? Then I got it and used it.I really appreciate the design of the Ember mug's lid, and now I want one for my 10oz mug, too. Specifically, the way the edge or lip of the lid is contoured makes for a really comfortable drinking experience. You don't really tend to think about what would be ergonomic for your lips - I sure didn't - until I used this.I also really love that the sip-hole slide cover pops off completely, super easily, for cleaning. We've all used sip-thru lids that get uncomfortably gunky. This makes it incredibly easy to avoid that entirely, and I love the ease of cleaning and use.It forms a good, strong seal with my mug, so now I don't have to worry about curious kitten paws making their way into my coffee. I bought the model for my 14oz Ember Mug 2 and it fits flawlessly.

I don't know what Ember doesn't include this with their cups??? Probably to overcharge you for the lid once you realize that the lid prevents the coffee from "Filming" over if you put cream/milk in your coffee. I love that the lid helps keep my coffee fresh longer too. Just really disappointed that Ember does not include it with their cups.

I love my ember2 mug, but honestly was a bit frustrated with the longevity of a charge especially when working outside. Got the lid to help with that. It has been great - one charge now lasts more than hour.Highly recommend the lid, and especially appreciate that it comes with different color "slides" so you can differentiate between cups if you need to.

These ember lids fit perfectly on our 14 ounce ember cups. They look great and you can get them in different colors so it’s easy to see which cup is yours. They go on or off easily. They help to keep your drink warm longer. Good quality! Great purchase!

This fits the mug well, but isn't spill proof. Looks cute though. There's cheaper ones that seal better.

Why didn't I get this sooner?Perfect fit and seal.On my 14oz Ember, which used to keep coffee warm for about 60-70 min, it now keeps it warm for 2+ hours!As long as the sliding piece is in the closed position, keeps all liquids in even in a bumpy truck cup holder. Yes, it still gets a little outside, but thanks to the lids design, what little that does escape stays inside the lid.Great deal and the perfect add on one to a great coffee mug!

I had purchased the Ember mug for my husband and a lid was not included. This lid is perfect and works as described.

Fits well, no dripping, sure helps drink to stay warm. I would recommend for sure
