Excellent Range
Certainly 'Value for your Money' very well made considering the cost. As all wireless systems advise avoiding UPVC doors windows etc. I was a bit dubious about buying one, but when it arrived (very quickly ) I plugged it in where it would direct me to my back door then went through the kitchen and conservatory, closed the doors both UPVC held the bell push it the position that I would like it fitted, and pushed the button, my wife waved to me to indicate it was working. Then proceeded along the garden path (12mtr. Approx ) and out the 2mtr. high gate, pushed the button, opened the gate and there was my wife waving, indicating that it was still working. So all in all a very good product with plenty of range. I am most pleased.

Trouble free installation, never worry again about replacing batteries
Our last wireless unit had a battery in the bell push and it was always getting wet and failing. This unit is great, no need for screws if you place it on a smooth surface as the adhesive pad is super sticky so get it right first time! The bell push is quite chunky, about 1" high. The reciever unit is smaller than most and fits easily into a gang socket and it will allow other plugs to be placed next to it without obstruction. The volume control on the reciever is great as some units can be quite shocking in volume if placed nearby or if you're dozing. The ding dong ring is the first in the selection, so no need to scroll through annoying melodies and stupid inappropriate sounds that some come with. I did not try any other sounds so they may be there!I hope this will be the last bell I have to buy and time will tell if the extreme Hebridean rain and wind will kill this one as well...UPDATE: ONE YEAR ONStill going strong and still stuck to the door!

An innovative idea that I hope works
I have a studio in the garden and needed another bell for the back gate. Have been through half a dozen over the last few years as they always let water in or just don't work. So when i saw this, I thought I would give it a try. Was a bit sceptical and to be honest when i first put it in , it didn't work. Now its got line of sight from the gate to inside the studio it seems to work ok, its only a distance of 6 metres so was a bit disappointed at first that the signal didn't travel through the garage but now I have put the ringer in another socket, it has worked every time so far. I know that they say the bell push is waterproof but this time I have fashioned a cover out of a small plastic container and then put the bell push inside and then screwed both of them to the gate post to keep most of the rain out.....The only other thing I had to do is put a small sticker on it to say "push to click" as some didn't push the bell hard enough to make the connection work. So hopefully this one will last more than three to four months like the others.....

Wireless doorbell that doesn't eat batteries
Our old door bell ate batteries, and gave no indication of when they had run out. This unit seems much more sensible. It has three volume levels (we're currently trying it out on medium) and a wide range of tunes. I hated them all except the default "Ding dong, ding dong", but your taste may well differ. If you're using the screws supplied to mount onto a hardwood doorframe, you would be well advised to drill 2.5mm pilot holes, as the screws are quite long for the job. The sticky pad supplied is by 3M, and is generously proportioned - but the bell push is on the large side (as often mentioned), and the pad should hold it with no problem. The wireless range didn't seem very impressive, even in a new-build house where wi-fi signal is no problem at all. We've plugged the bell in in the hall, so that's not a problem, but if you want it to respond to a second push (at a back door, for instance), it might struggle.

The good news is that
I bought this hoping it would work well as to two previous wireless bells randomly stopped reacting to the bell push. The good news is that, so far, this product is working well and the chimes it plays are also loud. For these reasons t I would give it five stars. Great. However, there are two issues. Firstly, the bell push needs to be pressed firmly as a slight push does not activate the bell. I would suggest that an improvement would be to add some lettering to the bell push such as "press hard". The second problem is that the choice of chime is lost when the power is switched off, reverting to a simple ding dong. I would suggest that most electronic products these days keep settings when power is removed so I was surprised to find that this unit doesn't keep its settings. With these two improvements made the product would qualify for 5 stars from me.

An excellent wireless and battery-free door bell
Got to replace a "rain resistant" door bell that failed after 15 months. This is sealed and requires no batteries and works a treat. Because it requires no batteries, it can be properly sealed as you don't have to open it. You also don't have to worry about that complaint you would otherwise get one day "I've been ringing you bell, but no one answered".Nice tones, nice and loud, everything you need from a wireless door bell.

Great battery-less Doorbell
I have previously bought doorbells from Homebase and B&Q- but then so have others in my road. Got really tired of neighbours bell-pushes setting off my ringer at all times of the day and night whatever setting I put it on. The signals obviously travel quite a distance. You also never know that your battery in a bell-push is dead until you have missed several deliveries and someone eventually uses the knocker because they know you are actually in.I bet no one else in your road has one of these yet so no chance of them setting your ringer off! This also has no battery to run down. It just works on the 'push' of the bell producing enough of a kinetic charge/signal to set your bellringer off.-Not the loudest ring I've had, but good enough as long as the TV is not on too loud.Very pleased with this buy.

No batteries, no worries.
Fitted the switch to my front gate post with a cam on the gate to operate the switch and it works like a dream. I have a long drive up to the house and it works fine and the beauty of it is that it does not require batteries or wires. I now get plenty of warning when visitors arrive. I found that the switch generates a voltage when pushed, which only lasts a short while, then the bell rings on the release of the switch.
