Great machine so far.
I bought this over a month ago to hone my skills in Ping Pong. I have to say this machine has exceeded my expectations so far. I've probably used it 100 times by now. The hopper can hold quite a few balls. I made a slight mod so it can hold up to 200 at once. Highly recommend.

Incredibly fun when paired with a good net/small room
This thing is awesome if you own a pingpong table but don't get to use it often. I live with someone who physically can't play a game against me so my table went unused for weeks at a time. I was a bit iffy about spending this amount of money on a robot and a net to surround half the table but I am so glad I did. I use this thing almost everyday. I don't know if it's actually making me any better but it's fun and that's all I care about.I do have a couple of complaints but not enough to remove a star. First, I don't like that the controller is hard wired to the robot. The wire is plenty long enough to run it to the other side of the table but you can't disconnect it from the robot like you can the power cable. Which sort of leads into my next con: mounting the controller isn't super easy. I ended up building a little bracket that hangs under my table and holds the controller. I suppose you could velcro it to the back of the table but I was concerned about running into it during play. I'm super happy with the bracket thing I built but it just adds another step to take this thing off the table since the controller can't be disconnected.Overall, I really like this thing, tons of adjustment, holds about 120 balls, has never gotten jammed and most importantly, allows me to play ping pong by myself.

Trainer that is fun when no one else is around to play
I am by no means going to say I am a pro at ping pong, but I do enjoy playing and my kids do too. However, when I am playing with some of the little ones, it can become a little tedious chasing balls. So maybe it is a little selfish of me, but they can just keep refilling the hopper and they can just practice returning the ball all day long. It does even help me since I can adjust and rotate the launcher for pitch, angle and spin I will probably not get from my kids anytime soon. The machine itself is made of a lot of plastic so I am hoping it will put up with the kids. It doesn’t really move once you have secured it to the table, so that helps. It does plug in, so there is a cord and sometimes that is a recipe for disaster with clutzy kids and adults. The price was a little high, but if you look at some of the other table tennis robots, it is not that bad. I had no idea these warranted such a price tag, but I suppose if I was super serious about table tennis this would function as a good trainer. For me, this is a good tool to keep my sanity and to give me a challenge until the kids grow up a get better when they will just crush me in a game. This machine functions well and has a good deal of adjustments to challenge yourself, so I think it is a decent investment.

Great for practice. It can be inconsistent, but, the inconsistancy can be a pro.
I’ve used this for many practice sessions and continue to use it. You can control how heavy the spin is, as well as the height and location of where the ball lands. Occasionally, the ball can shoot inconsistently, landing short or long. However, I find these minor inconsistencies helpful for improving footwork and reaction time. They keep me on my toes, which is exactly what training should do.Bucket Size:The bucket size is ideal. It holds plenty of balls, and I’ve never felt the need for a larger one.Controls:The controls are simple to set up. You’ll need to let the machine shoot a few balls to adjust it to the shot you’re aiming for.Cable Length:Your ping pong table will need to be near an outlet. The cable isn’t short, but it’s not as long as I would have preferred. If needed, you can use an extension cable.
