Sturdy and Reliable
These jugs are very durable and resonably priced. I use them for fragrance oil to block out the light.

The simple things make life easier
I wish I would have bought these many years ago. Make fluid exchanges so much easier. I don't have to wrestle with empty containers constantly. You only really needs 3 to have enough container buffers space if you will, but so worth the purchase.

A lower profile bottle would work much better for transport
It works well for what I needed. The caps seal well however it would be better to have lower profile containers as these fall over in transport (because they are tall and skinny).

Jugs, but lids are not child resistant
Got these to store nutrient solution for semi-hydroponics. The opaque plastic is good for preventing algae growth in the container. There's a translucent stripe at the front showing how much is left in the container—I just store these jugs with this side against the wall. I'm disappointed to see that the lids are not child resistant at all despite being advertised as such. They're just normal screw-on caps but with the tamper-evident bands still attached—they don't make for very good tamper-evident bands as they stay stuck to the lids.

No Leaks
Used one to ship back a faulty container's worth of content for return to FCP Euro. I filled it up, tightened it and did the dip test with no issues with leaking.

When you do an oil change like on my motorcycle, where I use2 quarts, but I buy a 4 quarts oil container, I have to use a temporary container to store the used oil before I do the next oil change and I can finally use the original container to put all used oil and return to recycling center. This is overkill, but it works. Container is identifyable as a storage container (so wife doesn't put in trash with used oil in it), they don't leak and have that little level window in it.

One of the damn things had a punctured hole in it. What a mess, oil went everywhere. If you must, ensure you test them first.

I picked up this 3-pack of plastic oil jugs to store used engine oil and transmission fluid until I can get them to a proper disposal facility — and they’ve been exactly what I needed. What I like: Good value for the price. Compared to buying individual jugs or flimsy containers, this set gives you three solid, usable bottles at a very reasonable price. High quality build. The plastic is durable (HDPE, as the description says), handles are ergonomic, lids screw on tightly, and I’ve had zero leakage so far. Size is just right. A gallon each: large enough to hold a decent amount of fluid, but not so big that the jugs are cumbersome or hard to store. How I use them: I fill them up with used oil and transmission fluid (from routine maintenance) and stash them safely in my garage until I can take them to a recycling/disposal site. The screw-on lids help prevent spills, even if the bottles get moved or tipped slightly. When they’re not in use for oils, they work great for other fluids or even non-automotive uses (like cleaning chemicals or detergent), so they’re pretty versatile. What could be better: The pouring spout isn’t perfect — because of the size of the opening, pouring needs to be done slow or with a funnel to avoid drips. No measurement markers inside, so estimating how much fluid is in there isn’t super precise. Overall: If you’re someone who does vehicle maintenance or has to store automotive fluids temporarily, these jugs are very useful. Good build quality, good value, and likely to last a long time. I’m pretty happy with them.
