The cut-scenes and special effects are brilliant. The whole documentary is brilliant. I don't want to give too much away, so please just trust me, if you enjoyed other Dan Snow documentaries you will love this one. Yes, its £19.99. NEVER TOO OLD TO LEARN
WHEN I SAW A PART OF ONE EPISODE ON TELEVISION A LITTLE WHILE AGO, I DIDN'T THINK THAT THE EVENT IN HISTORY KNOWN AS THE SPANISH ARMADA WAS SO INVOLVED, CERTAINLY NOTHING LIKE I HAD LEARNED AT SCHOOL (AND THAT WAS OVER 57 YEARS AGO!). I FOUND THIS SERIES VERY INTERESTING AND I WATCHED THE THREE EPISODES ONE AFTER THE OTHER. IT WAS WELL WORTH WATCHING AND LEARNING ABOUT, EVEN AT MY AGE.

Factual and fun
Amazing documentary. We watch this with our year 7s each year when teaching our Shakespeare unit so that students understand what the monarchy was facing at the time. Always gets them hooked - Dan Snow is so engaging.

Dan Snow is a superb presenter and his passion for his subject shines through in this fantastic documentary regarding the Armada and th days that led up to saving England. If you love history you cannot fail to enjoy this. Highly recommended.
