Stargazer Semi-Permanent Lip Stain Pen #02 Medium Pink

I'm a repeat buyer, bought this time for a friend because I like it so much. I love this product, never stop making it! The colour is initially very strong and "lipsticky" looking however this wears off quickly and you are left with a colour stain that lasts for hours. This is perfect for me as a prefer a more understated natural look but I look less washed out with this product adding colour to my lips. If I want a stronger look I add colour on top with lip pencil, for glossy I add gloss. If you want a strong, long-lasting look it might not be for you unless reapplied often but at this price give it a try anyway - it works great as an "undercoat" to lipstick and lip liner. I wouldn't describe as creamy though - it's more of a water stain, doesn't leave any texture or coating on your lips. I've never found it drying to use and, after the first few minutes, doesn't transfer onto anything.

Waste of money. Absolutely no colour . Could not use, like a dried up felt tip pen. Longlasting? It didn't even work.

Cute color but : it gets on your teeth, on the cigaret , on the glass.... Everywhere. Last around two hours. The worst part is that when I eat it smudges around and guess what , it hard to wipe off from skin , yet it wipes off easily from the lips.

I am pleased with this product. It is very much like a felt pen with a flat sided nib. It applies the colour evenly and easily, although you need a steady hand so you draw a nice clean line around the edge of your lips and then fill in the lips completely. I had a bright red one and it is vibrant and long lasting . It leaves your lips very dry though so once the lip ink dried completely I applied a thin layer of clear balm which worked a treat. Colour stays on even when you eat, although I found with greasy food you do need to touch up a little bit (maybe if you don't use balm it might be better, but overall I prefer the feel of it with balm and touching up was very easy). The only negative thing about it is that there was a small amount of bleeding around the edges, again this might not happen without the balm, but in any event it was hardly noticeable.

Colour: This is not close to the colour expected, it’s a very deep red with orangey tones. Very nice, grown up colour. Longevity: This is like a permanent marker for lips! It lasts up to 24 hours fading as it goes but still some colour there. Can be toned down by blotting off and washing off a little. To note: the first application will transfer when wet, be aware ! If needed, excess can be blotted off with a damp cloth and then much less transfer will happen if any for the rest of the day Taste: no fragrance or taste that I noted.

Excellent staying power as it really does stain your lips. However, I thought it was going to be a nice pink, it turns out that the colour on the tube is completely different to what comes out. It's a dark burgundy. Looks like I'm getting ready to join the Addams Family. So it's a no from me. BTW, mine also smelt off. I personally wouldn't recommend, try another brand. Mine's gone in the bin. 🙁

Lovely lip tint, took me a while to choose one as the tips all look so dark. It was only the reviews with photos where the name of the colour had been added to the review, that helped me decide!! I went for number 4 Dusky Pink and I am very pleased with it. It goes on well and darkens with each layer, I found two to three layers is good and lasts well through eating and drinking! I definitely recommend it!

Couldn't even use it once , arrived dried up and no colour. Do not waste your money

I like lipstains especially those that are like a marker, but I like them to actually work. This one you can't get a line with and if you go over it umpteen million times you might see it, but it doesn't last. Don't bother.

Der Stift wurde leider fast leer bzw. ausgetrocknet geliefert. Die Farbe entspricht nicht dem Beispiel, die farbliche Abweichung ist aber akzeptabel.

The color, I wouldn’t really describe as a “dusty pink” I would say this is more of a medium/deep mauve or maybe even a light type of raisin color. Very blue based but muted. I do quite like the shade. It’s a more “mature” type of pink. If you have a medium-dark, olive/green tone you’d probably like it or even if you have a deeper skin tone. Lighter skin can def pull it off but it is a fairly deeper shade and may not have as much of a natural/nude lip look compared to a lighter shade. I mean, it is a lip stain so I’d assume you could just use a wipe to remove some of the pigment so it can lighten up the color a tad. The product feels completely weightless. With a mask I don’t even notice it on but it does last all day for me. If you have dry lips, you may want to use a lip balm before or scrub any dead skin off beforehand. I don’t really recommend lip balm or gloss over just because the emollients will dissolve the pigment and so it will transfer/not last as long but it is a nice product and I definitely want to get more of their shades. It worked A LOT better than I expected. I was always hesitant about these types of marker lip products but this stuff is amazing. Highly recommend. Edit: In order to get an even color on fuller lips you have to overlap a bit and the colors does get quite plum colored, however, if you just use a baby wipe you can adjust the pigment. I wipe it a few times and it’s a nice sort of mauve pink that is enough color to not make me look washed out but it’s not so pigmented that It’s a focal point
