Our granddaughter had a Roman Day at school where all the children got dress up like Romans and got to learn about the culture and how the Romans influenced Britain and even the world. The children had a fabulous day and our granddaughter looked amazing, excellent costume and great value for money, oh and after school we went shopping and she wanted to go still dressed as a Roman 😬

I bought medium for my tall 6 year old (120cm). The length was good. The costume comes in 5 parts. One long black tunic with banding at the bottom and a Velcro fastening at the back. The material was light but it looks fine. There is a red 'shawl' that you Velcro to the right shoulder. There is a red waistband which you fasten together again with Velcro plus two armbands with Velcro fastenings. We found the waistband far too big. We can't fasten it because the Velcro isn't in the right place for her. This is true of the two arm clasps. However, I reckon I can do some adjustments with Velcro I have. It's better working with something a bit big than too small. I ordered it with Prime and it was delivered next day. It looks effective and my daughter was pleased with it.

Needed a Roman citizen costume for my daughter’s nativity play. Great price and swift delivery in time for dress rehearsal . Fit very well ( dress is long) fingers crossed we can reuse next year (if she is citizen again). Worth the price.

Cheap and cheerful costume for Roman day at my daughters school. I ordered Large for a very petite 8 year old, who’s quite tall; the length reached an inch above the ankle. Though the dress hangs loosely there’s not that much volume and the belt will give shape. As others noted the cuffs and belt will need adjusting,which is quicker than making the costume from scratch!

Perfect for dress up day used it for Greek day and next year will use for Roman day. It's thin material but it does the job and for the price (£6.24!!) it's great combined with fancy Greek hairdo ( look in YouTube) my daughter was delighted!

Perfect for Roman Day at school and cheaper than buying a pillowcase and altering it as was the suggestion from the school. This arrived quickly and was ready to wear straight out of the pack and the fit was good.

Franchement, pour le prix je ne m'attendais pas à recevoir un costume aussi joli. Il est certes très simple mais néanmoins très bien coupé.
