Excellent product.
I use this product for putting a final edge before stropping onto my kitchen knives. Believe me they are not razor sharp. As DMT advise the diamond stone takes a short while to bed in but once it does, it works just as it should. Very pleased!

Very Good
Well made & sharpens my knives like razors. Only problem is would like to purchase one that was big enough to fit a sharpening stone block as this one being hand held does not give you complete control with the angles.

Es una piedra muy abrasiva , que la compre para hacer un afilado más preciso de espejo después de trabajar con la dia sharp extra fine, pero ha sido todo lo contrario, esta extra extra fine es mucho más agresiva por lo que deja muchas rayas con el afilado . En comparación con otras piedras sería de un grit 600-800

Without this stone, I can still get a pretty good edge with just the green X-fine but THIS stone defintely takes my edges to the next level - razor sharp and very polished. At the new price of $14, don't pass up on this. I paid $18 and they dropped the price right afterwards ... grrr :-) Maybe someday I'll also get setup for stropping with some diamond paste or 3m abrasive lapping pads but at the moment I don't feel that these are necessary for me since the DMT xxf does such a great job. I can literally shave with any of my edges honed with this stone. I'll usually complete a full v profile with this stone and then add a microbevel using ONLY this stone at the very end, with either 1 or 2 steps up on the aligner (depending on the blade). Works like a charm! My only complaint is that shipping took a while for this item, even though it was listed as in stock.

Keep this in my edc kit for keeping all my knives razor sharp. I use it like a strop. Plus I glued a peice of leather on the back of it and put 3 micron diamond solution on it. Works well
