Extremely enlightening
Professor Roelofs explains with excellent sources how the US Military has spread its tentacles into nearly every area of the economy, culture, education, and our lives. I already did not support the ridiculous, massive, immoral DC Empire and its military. But this book blew my mind with how much influence the war machine has over everything in our lives. And so many people benefit from the MIC that there are few left to protest it.However, I strongly disagree with her solution; I think that growing the government and making our society more authoritarian/socialist would not solves this problem. The government must be diminished as much as possible from every angle and every department until no individuals are violated by the criminals who terrorize us under the guise of governance.
