In love
I love these things. I use them to freeze the chopped garlic and ginger. They are the perfect size. They are easily stacked and the vibrant colors allow for me to distinguish which is in each. I bought this set twice I love it. The top doesn't stay on securely, but otherwise no complaints

Excellent Ice Cube Tray for Everyday Use
I purchased this for my office fridge, I'm impressed with its design and functionality. Makes small cubes that are perfect. The silicone material makes it super easy to pop out the cubes without cracking or struggling just be aware, you need to pour water slowly to avoid overflow but other than that works well.

The way I use it
* UPDATE: 11/07/2024 review Refrain from filling water up to the top in each cell, only 80%, to avoid the lid being raised by ice and won't stay well. * UPDATE: 10/4/2024 review Customer service emailed me the correct use way *Before using the silicone ice cube tray, it is recommended to boil it in water for 5-10 minutes. *Silicone may become harder during production and boiling can help restore its original softness and elasticity, which helps our products better adapt to different usage environments and methods. *It is is recommend that you let the silicone ice cube tray sit at room temperature for 1-2 minutes before attempting to remove the ice cubes. Twist the ice cube tray with both hands, then ice cubes are each individually separated, you will release most of the ice cubes more easily and press the bottom to push out for the remaining few ice cubes. 9/26/2024 review I take 1 star out. The lid could be thicker and deeper for a better fit. However, I am glad the lid is also made of silicon. This is not a big issue; it's just a suggestion. Here is the way I use it after reading many reviews: 1. Soak the item in hot-warm water for 15 minutes, remove it, rinse with warm water, and then sock it back for another 15 minutes. Then remove it and rinse with warm water again. 2. Use Q-tips to clean the cells. There is a thin wax-like substance inside them. Then, rise again with warm water. 3. Wash both with light soapy water. 4. Make ice cubes. Make sure to put this ice maker ON A TRAY to avoid water spills. The silicon tray is soft and the cover is not water spill-proof. 5. Take the tray out and sit for 1-2 minutes before pushing ice cubes out from the bottom. Besides this 1-2 minutes allowed the cover to be removed more easily. 6. TOSS all the ice cubes made the first time, then start to make ice again! Starting from the second time, all the ice cubes are good to eat. 7. Remove the tray and place the silicon ice maker back in the freezer for the remaining ice cubes till all are gone. Why? 1. Because of that my freezer is quite full and has no flat surface for the silicon soft case. Without a tray under it, water will spill and the cover won't stay good. 2. Toss the ice cubes made for 1st time to avoid the smell and the taste. The silicon looks durable, however it's softer than plastic. And of course, silicon is better than plastic for health. Am I making it complicated? Hope you have a better way when you receive this item and start using it for the first time. I bought it at 20% off, good price, good silicon, good ice cube size. I like it.

Would buy again
I waited a while to write this review to check their lasting power. They are still in peak condition! I do have trouble removing the cubes but with how much they hold, I don't mind the struggle. Great ice capacity and the lids allow stacking!

Decent ice cube tray
These ice cube trays make nice, small ice cubes, not as big as the plastic trays. I like the hexagon shape, reminds me of a beehive. It was a little hard to fill the trays (I am using a water pitcher, not the faucet so maybe that's why), when I tried to level the water out like I do with the square silicone tray I have the water just spilled over the side and not into the empty ice holes. I also had some troubles getting the ice cubes out and into the ice holder, maybe there is a technique I am missing, but it was a little tough for me. I was able to pick up and move the stack (four trays) with the lids on pretty easily and without spilling. All in all it's not bad, but it iant really great either.

Great for tonics
I use these to make the blood pressure tonic I drink daily. I make the sugar free juice, add the powdered herbs, stir and pour into these trays. They work very well. The silicone lids stay put once the liquid is frozen. The lid is basically there to deal with evaporation. My concoction has beetroot in it, so I like to keep everything clean of the bright red juice. The lids are great for that. Because I use these trays for tonic making, fast melting is a plus. I add 3-4 cubes per glass to get the right dosage. It takes 15 mins for the cubes to completely melt in refrigerator temp juice. I just stir and drink and get the proper tonic dose. I use syringes made for gummy making to fill the cavities with the right dosage making sure to keep the levels consistent. I’ve never had a problem with filling these. I can imagine using these for water would be mildly frustrating as the trays are a bit wobbly if you’re not holding BOTH of the handles or completely supporting the bottom with a tray. The cubes come out easily. You just push the bottom of the one you want. You can then grab the ice cube by its top edges. I’m so used to it now that I don’t even think it. I’ve been using these since May. Bonus: they’re small enough to fit through the tops of most bottles. So I don’t always have to use premade juice from the fridge. I can use grab and go juice.
