Silverline Dead Blow Hammer 32 oz (907g) (456887)

Very nice quality. Used a rubber mallet and a Thor rawhide for years both of these have served me well but this really gets the job done. There well be better dead blows for a price! But this earned it's price in one job so I can only recommend it. Very useful and a handy tool to have.

Very useful, very effective, good weight with a very comfortable grip, the length of the shaft is good for giving your knuckles clearance from objects you're whailing away on. It came in handy knocking free rusted on brake rotors and for hammering away on a 18mm wrench and a 1/2" ratchet. The face has been exposed to some wear after my use but that's to be expected as to not damage the face of the items you're smacking it with. Overall, very good quality and i'm glad i bought it.

Well balanced sturdy hammer

We were previously using our shoes to try and push in tent pegs into the ground which obviously wasn't very effective. Some of the spots we've camped at have a more compact, rocky, hard ground so we really needed something that had a bit of weight to it to get the pegs into the ground. There's no bounce back when you use the hammer on the tent pegs which makes it so much more effective. All of the people we were camping with used this hammer too - a great bit of kit to add to your camping box.

Bought this to put the spiked wind breakers up. It was a breeze. It’s not heavy (no heavier than the previous mallet I used) but the way it works the spikes just go in with ease. It’s all one piece so no fears of the handle coming loose.
