When we moved into our house, none of the cabinets had soft close hinges. I installed these in our kitchen, laundry room, and three bathrooms. We are going on two years of use and none have failed. Great product!

These are an identical replacement for the hinges in the hardwood cabinets throughout my 6-year-old house. Surprised that I need some replacement hinges after only 6 years? Well, I found that it was only the few cabinets that were opened and closed multiple times per day that needed replacement. The replacements were needed because the original hinges had lost their "soft-close" feature. There are 59 cabinets in my house (it has an enormous amount of storage), so that's 118 hinges. I had to replace about only 12 of them. In most cabinets, only one of the two hinges needed replacement; only two cabinet doors (the highest usage of all!) needed both hinges replaced. Installation was straightforward with no issues. I had to remove the hardware that the hinges came with (minor amount of work), since the bare hinges fit perfectly with the original screws. I had to adjust the "alignment screws" in only a very few instances; in most cases the new hinges produced exactly correct alignment.

Replaced the very low quality hinges on all my cabinets. Fit and function is great and adjustment is straightforward.

It has a more expensive look over the part plastic one. A few of my cabinet have pull out sliding drawers and these do not fit for that set up. So I ended buying a different soft close hinge which is metal and part plastic for the one with the pull out sliding drawer, it just sits more flush when open vs these. Then, I realize these are much harder to install compared to the one I just bought. The adjustability on this is a bit difficult to adjust your doors evenly. The only thing about this hinge is they look more higher quality but they have a lot of limitations.

It is really good hardware to install for the doors and the soft close works flawlessly.
