Great piece of kit
Needed some light in the dark recesses of my garage where the woodstore is. Although I have electricity in the garage, I just wanted something simple and easy. Needed to have a sensor, be LED and run on batteries. This ticked all the boxes.Instructions were, for once, in plain English, and it was super easy to drill 2 holes, mount using supplied rawlplugs and screws, install batteries and we're done. Took me ten minutes.Quality is good, the light given off (lumens) is more than adequate, and the lights swivel left/right and up/down. Can't really fault this at all and would definitely buy another- were it not for the fact it's not rated for outdoors (IP44), I'd get a couple for the gardenStill, excellent buy

Battery floodlight
Awesome light. I've brought another one, an Auraglow i think, that's good but not bright enough. I live down a lane with no streetlights and people have a very hard time finding us, add to us being at the end of a long path on the dark lane, it's pretty ridiculous when anyone is coming past 3pm during the winter. You'll need some C batteries, I got these Duracell 6 x C size Industrial Battery Alkaline Replaces Procell Expiry 2021 Twist the back off, slot these in, drill the holes into the wall where you'd like this and screw the back on, then all you have to do is twist the light onto the baking plate and it's up. So simple, took me no more than 5 minutes. The lights/heads move independently from each other and can be split further apart as well as being positioned higher or lower as you need, and when you twist the bottom sensor ball thing, you get a small control panel with three dials. One controls how far the motion sensor goes, another how bright the light is, and the last how long the light stays on. Might take some fiddling to decide how you want it, but it is very bright, and has a good reach. Can actually see my own front door now so that's always good. Basically I think this is an incredible light and definitely worth the money, if you need a bright wireless security light then look no further

Lights up my life!
After doing lots of research i plumbed for the Xtralite Nightsafe floodlight. One of the most important factors for buying them was that you were able to direct each spotlight in a different direction. The instructions that came with the item were very helpful in selecting the settings. Once the device is up and running it is just a case of tweaking the settings to your liking which is a bit of trial and error but the settings are so flexible i'd be surprised if you can't get it just how to you want it. I have to say that the brightness and the distance, when set to the maximum, was a pleasant surprise. It's difficult to say how long the batteries would last but you will notice how dim the lights get as a sign that the batteries need changing. If you have to have a battery security light i would happily recommend this product.

Great quality
These lights are very good quality and I have previously bought 2 others for around my home and handy when out around the house at night to light my way. Great not having to run electric cables to operate them. Well designed for outdoor weather and no worries about water damage complete water proof. Would recommend these lights.

Bought in Feb 2019 by Sept 19 I had replaced it twice.
I bought this initially back in February and it worked great for a couple of months- picked up motion, enough brightness- couldn't complain. Within a couple of months it had stopped working- for no reason. I contacted the seller and had it replaced and again it worked for a short period of time and then stopped working again. So by September I had returned and had it replaced twice and both just stopped working. Can't complain about the company as they replaced the product both times no problems and then when it broke the second time I asked for my money back and they could keep their light! Which they did no problem. However I am now having to source and buy another outdoor light. Please buy with caution. Maybe it was just bad luck that I had TWO faulty lights...

Worth buying.
Well made, good instructions. Great options on how dark you want it to be before it operates, how far away movement is detected and how long you want the light to stay on. You can also make an adjustment to where it responds to movement in the horizontal plane.I live on a farm with little light pollution, pitch black really. It shines a good light on my 15 foot path from the front door and gives adequate light beyond probably another 60 feet across the yard to where the car is parked. How long the batteries will last, I don't know, but I've used Duracell and I suppose it depends on how many visitors I get after dark. All in all I'm very pleased with it..

Perfect for my needs
This lamp is superb. I have it mounted high on a tree at the end of the garden and it casts plenty of light in two adjustable directions - perfect for me to see what the dogs are up to when they go out in the dark. The sensor takes a little trial and error to get the required settings, but once sorted, it performs perfectly. Battery life is reasonable too. I get about 3 months from 1 set, although slightly less during cold winter months, but that's to be expected. The only problem I have with it is when wood pigeons perch on the lamps and push them down, but careful poking with a long stick pushes them back up to optimum position.
