Nice upgrade
I replaced the stock string trees on my fender Strat with these because I saw a review on them on YouTube. They work great, they look good and I’m satisfied.

These work great to eliminate string tree friction.
I use these on all of my guitars that have the stamped metal string trees.

Works
I put locking tuners on my strat to stabilize the trem a bit but was still having some tuning problems. Bought some nut lubricant and that helped. Bought this product and the problems basically went away. I mean, its a strat, so it'll still slip a bit if I go absolutely nuts but I do highly recommend this product.

Seems to work well enough
The mounting screws are a little bit large, but I was able to get them in regardless.

I love these things and now all of my guitars have them
How can you not love these things. If you are into hot rodding your guitars, or like me, are on a budget and have to buy some lower end stuff and used stuff. I started out buying a really cheap guitar to haul to work to practice on my breaks and lunches etc. Then I set it up and did some fret work on it etc. and fell in love with it. I wasn't crazy about the cheap plastid nut, so i put a tusq xl nut in it and they threw the string trees at me as an add on. I said ok and added them to the cart. I know that they have made an awesome improvement as i put them on before changing the nut. They seriously richened up the tone and sustain for miles. After installing the XL nut (Make sure you read the descriptions on your string trees and nuts as the XL's are self-lubricating for life, the non Xl's are not). I find the non XL's come up a lot more frequently when searching for a good deal and they are ok, just not self lubricating. To finish it off, it I lube up the nuts and trees with some Super Vee Super Glide (look it up and buy some!!!!) What started out as a $65 guitar is now one of my favorites to play, and all the other ones now have tusq XL string trees,....the Tele, The Strat, The Lead I, etc. etc.
