A life-changing book
This book came to me at just the right time, and it has spoken deeply to me. Reading it has given me some astonishing insights, much joy, and a lot of laughter. It has engendered an enormous sense of freedom, purpose and above all, love. I am still digesting it and will continue to do so for a long time. I will give myself some time to ponder before I go on to the next books, and at the same time I can't wait to dive into the next books.Reading this will radically reshape your thinking about life, God, purpose and yourself. And/or it will reawaken in you a sense of knowing what is true and how life in all its beauty works. It will also awaken in you a sense of both responsibility and freedom in how life works. For me it has brought together and crystallised various strands of 'knowing' into an awesome, deceptively simple yet at the same time highly complex whole. It has set me free to engage creatively with life in an energising and amazingly joyful way.For me this book has arrived on a pathway, or in a progression, of other reading that helped me be ready for it, I think. Otherwise I may have dismissed it or found it frightening or threatening in the way it would challenge my existing views. Books such as Life after Life, The Power of Now, Jesus Calling, and The Shack helped to prepare me for it.I highly recommend this book for those seeking answers to the fundamental questions of life, who can approach the dialogue with an open mind, and are prepared to examine their pre-conceptions and embrace the power of choice.Reading this, and listening to the endearing and funny voice of God that emerges, has reinforced to me that God is absolutely real, is way beyond our most complex conceptions of Him/Her, is always with us, and loves us unconditionally with a steadfast eternal and amazingly FUN love that will never leave us. Because ultimately we are one. How amazing and awe-inspiring it all is. Thank God it is so!

Not for the typical Bible Basher
As with most of Neale's other work, I read this book in only a couple of sittings (always the sign of a very good book for me). If you have not read any of his subsequent works then it should be noted that the question and answer style of his books can lead to readers prematurely dismissing this work out of hand. Who could possibly speak directly to God AND GET ANSWERS you may ask. This is a valid response and it is up to the reader to believe it without question, dismiss it out of hand or just read the book with an open mind. I recommend the latter to get the most out of this book. Whether this is the word of God or a prophet or a schizophrenia sufferer is not important. What matters more than anything is the thought provoking message of the words in this and all the CWG books.I first read CWG Book 1 about three years ago, which was the first book ever to blow my mind in a spiritual sense and radically alter my outlook on life. I was previously engaged on a quest to find the meaning of life due to being disillusioned with society and even more by mainstream Christian religion which seemed to be just `going through the motions' and missing the important messages of the New Testament. From being a staunch atheist for all my life, based on my beliefs that if God actually existed then he/she would have to be a cruel, capricious, jealous and vengeful entity, I could see no place for God in my life.My search was therefore directed towards the sciences and my research in cosmology gave me the knowledge of the infinite scale and wonder of the universe, plus my reading on quantum physics was telling me that reality is not what we perceive it to be. I was starting to think of other alternatives, such as a creator of our reality.A new way of thinking about God and life is given in this book which can answer the questions non-believers have been asking, such as why is there so much suffering in the World if a God has designed it? Order this book and find an answer which will try to explain why the things are the way they are. It really does start to come together when you consider the words carefully. This book found me at the right time and seemed `heaven sent' in my search for spiritual knowledge and I value it as a true gift.People who want to believe in Hell and punishment in the here-after, please do not buy this book. You will be very disappointed to read that God does not need to forgive and loves us all, no matter what, because we are all part of God, and this can be no other way.

The most amazing dialogue you may ever read!
This book is quite simply the most amazing dialogue that you may ever read.It is remarkable in many ways, not least because the beauty and simplicity of the language makes complex concepts easy to understand and digest. Concepts which are timeless in their application.Conversations with God highlights some of the most profound truths which we have all been asking ourselves as we move through our own unique experience of life. Indeed, this book presents us with a powerful platform for change but, as God repeatedly says to Neale Donald Walsch, it is an opportunity, not an obligation. Some or many of the concepts may seem radical, if only because they oppose the status quo of the world at large. Yet, if we do not embrace a new way of seeing our world, and each other, we may not have much of world left within a very short space of time. The book touches on our greatest gift from our Creator, the All-That-Is, All-That-Is-Not. This is the freedom to choose our experiences and define Who We Really Are. How to define ourselves in relation to everything and everyone else. The dialogue reveals the function and purpose of human relationships and how we can use them to serve us in experiencing a life filled with love, peace and harmony, rather than conflict and unhappiness. The entire Conversation With God series is truly remarkable and, put into practice, has the ability to help each of us re-create a grander, deeper experience of life and touch our friends, family and strangers in the process.May you be blessed as you read this message, which you have called to yourself at a Soul Level.I also highly recommend reading Gregg Braden's "The Spontaneous Healing of Belief" and Bruce Lipton's "The Biology of Belief" which blend spirituality with science to powerful effect.
