An Excellent Introduction
I wanted to learn basic book binding for a photographic project I'm working on, I couldn't have chosen a better jumping off point with this book. The number and variations in the type of bindings is deliberately kept to a handful but taken all together they all teach the basic skills which if you can master them will set you up to experiment with designing and developing exactly what you want. If you want a no nonsense introduction to personal/craft book binding (as opposed to industrial scale production), then I cannot recomend this too highly.

Beautiful book
The book itself is beautiful to look at and look through. Very informative with lovely, clear pictures. Well worth getting if you are interested in the basics of bookbinding.
