So happy I bought this product. Recently small flies have become quite the nuisance that even my cats can’t always catch them. This product was very easy to get going, the same day it caught at least a dozen bugs I was surprised because even though the directions tell you that you should place it in a darker area so the light stands out more, I have this by my kitchen window and it worked perfectly. Although, I do admit that for a bit I didn’t realize that I had to press the button in order for the light to go on. lol This product is much less expensive than the well known name brand and I am glad I purchased this this. The quality is great as well. I’m not finding that there is any humming noise coming from it as some products can often have. There is no smell either. Today marks the 14th day I’ve had it and the stickiness of it is still quite strong. Would definitely recommend getting this product if you have even the slightest flu issue, it’s cheaper and still works tremendously.

In some outlets the plug direction forced the trap into an awkward angle or location, which slightly impacted how well it covered the space. If that were adjustable, it would be perfect. Despite this, I’m giving it a full 5‑star rating because its performance is strong, the price is fair, and the design is clean and safe.

Had these super annoying gnats. I live in Florida so bugs are just a thing to deal with...but not IN my house lol. I have a lot of plants too, so I didn't know if these were drain flies, soil fungus gnats, or fruit flies (doing a lot of research LOL). But my god I couldn't sit down with a drink without freaking little flies swarming around me. I tried apple cider vinegar in a bowl, beer in a bowl. Yeah sure it attracted them, but they just flew away as soon as I approached it with a squirt bottle of bleach water. Its like they know LOL. This device nearly eliminated them. I still have a few, but not the magnitude of swarming as before because they are all stuck to the glue (YAY!). The first night I turned it on I got literally one. But I think its because I have recessed lighting right above where I had it plugged in. Now I turn that off at night. I am almost ready to change out the glue strip because it is getting full, which btw is nice that it faces backwards so you don't have to see the carnage trapped on it. It even trapped a bigger house fly. I only have one in my kitchen, but that is where my problem was. I am super happy with it. I guess the one or two buggers that I still have flying around are smart enough to stay away from the blue light. But I have also treated my plants with neem oil and pour bleach down my drains at night, so hopefully I found my problem and solution.

My cousin told me she bought a brand that was similar to the real thing but had to return it because it didn’t work so she had to get the right one instead. and now I believe this could be the brand that she got because this one is hardly effective. It plugs in and has a light but idk what’s different from the other one. I’ve had this plugged up a little over a week on only caught 3 gnats. It’s frustrating because I literally see gnats flying around daily but they are not getting trapped. So yes this one may be a little cheaper and comes with refills, but if you want effectiveness and efficiency, just get the higher brand. It has like 10,000 reviews and what not so you’ll know which one it is.

Works pretty well I mean it always has a lot of little no seams or full-size mosquitoes stuck to them and it gets fruit flies if I put it near my plants. I will tell you that the exterminator I have says not to have one in your bedroom because it brings them into the room with you so put it in the bathroom far away because there’s moisture in the bathroom and bugs off and look for moisture.

I like the way these work, no trouble, no smell. It just works.

I love how discreet it looks. Very easy to set up. However, I have had this plugged in for 2 days and not a single fruit fly, yet they are still flying around my fruit bowl. The cartridge seems pretty sticky and it is definitely lit up bright blue. I love that there is no sound to it and it doesnt have any of the smells that typically go along with trying to catch Fruit flies.

They do attract/trap small insects who can come through window screens and an occasional larger trespasser.
