I purchased this lighter a while back, maybe even a year ago. I only needed to light a few candles, so I had not used it that much ...... but then I decided I would burn all of my white sage and not use it anymore (I am trying to be more simple and minimalistic). So, I was outside, trying to have a little relaxing hypnotic sage burn session, and right away the lighter conked out. I recharged it and it held like half a charge at that point. I realized that the lighter was a dud and would not hold a charge. So, I contacted the company, and as I had wanted, they didn't "ding" me for not performing the role of product tester when I first got this lighter. I only used it as I normally would, which was lightly, and didn't test it out to see whether it was in proper working order or not. I would have had to teach myself how to be such a product tester, too, being that I was not familiar with these lighters. I did none of that, and just was the buyer/consumer as I am. The company didn't "ding" me for only being the buyer/consumer, and they sent me a new, working lighter. And I can tell immediately, now, that it works much better than the first one. It has a stronger electric or plasma arch, the way it should be. I'm so happy now!!! The company was really easy to work with, which I think is fair, since I paid for a working lighter and never got it, so at this point they should make things as easy on me as possible. Anyway, eventhough I originally got a dud, the company took care of the issue, so now I can be a happy customer and let others know that the company backs up their products. Order with confidence, and I highly recommend!!!

Sometimes I’m asked to set up gas fire pits for events. Unfortunately I’m often asked at the last minute. And, nobody can find a lighter that still works. Enter this little guy. It’s about the length of a dinner fork fully extended. And, it came fully charged when I received it. The operation is very straightforward. Slide the “prong” out to reveal the button. Push the newly revealed button to start an electric spark. This spark is constant and I couldn’t bow it out. Note: despite this - if your gas pressure is too high, there might not be enough oxygen to light a gas flame. You’re literally suffocating the flame with propane/natural gas. Flame, air, and fuel need to be in the right proportions to ignite. The charging was very straightforward as well. Attach the USB A end of the cable to a lower amperage charger. Insert the USB C end into the lighter. Using a high capacity USB C charger will not work. The lighter will reject it because its circuits can’t handle that fast of a charge. A variable power USB C charger will handle it fine. Once charging, a blue light will turn on. It’s done charging when the light goes out. My only gripe is that the supplied charging cable is very short - barely longer than the device. I have plenty of cables, so it’s not an issue for me. Engineering-wise, try to not let the lighter hang by the cable when charging. Eventually, you’ll wear out the charger, cable, or lighter. Soldered charging ports aren’t engineered to bear weight over time.

I’ve had the lighter for one year. I love it! But it suddenly would not take a charge. I reached out to customer service and after some troubleshooting, which didn’t help, they sent me a new lighter. A year later. Very impressive customer service!

Red version with a nice finish. Great size, easy to use, easy to carry around, durable, and was able to use and recharge for about 3 years before it stop taking a charge. Still very good for the time I had it.

Fall storms arrived in reached for this to light a candle and dead as a doornail! Corroded at the spark, I plugged it ninja and let it charge for a whole movie and still nothing, no battery indicator, no spark, nothing. Very disappointed!

Since my purchase 6 months ago, I have found this lighter to be reliable, simple, and practical. I got this lil’ guy because I often need a match for small things: like candles or incense. This fella works great for what I need it to do! The charge lasts a good two months until it’s halfway through. It is a little cheaply made, but I didn’t have any problems with the functionality. Great for someone who is ballin’ on a budget!! Update, Sept of 25’: the lighter has stopped charging, this started in the spring—it can’t charge (even after being inspected by several comp engineering majors at my university)—this means that it is no longer able to work! I wish there was an option to get a new one since the product is now defective.

I bought this sort of as a gag gift but it works really well. It's definitely eco-friendly. The arc is really strong and lights my candles very easily. It also comes with the charger which is super handy.

This little candle lighter is excellent. I purchased one for myself earlier this year and needed a Secret Santa gift so immediately thought of this lighter. It's slim and elegant. It's a nice colour and tones in well with home decor items. really like this candle lighter.

The product is very nice upto expectations. 1. Long battery life 2. Charging doesn't take much time 3. Plasma is working fine 4. Design is also nice. 5. Value for money.

Works very well with my gas stove - immediately igniting when I press the button. I only wish the build quality was better.
