I recently switched from my bluetooth USB microphone to this professional-grade condenser microphone with USB. I appreciate the convenience of having a professional-quality compressor microphone with a UBS connection, as my recording studio space is quite tiny. The sound quality is strong, the microphone rests on a tripod that fits easily and securely on my desk, and the pop filter works wonders. Overall, for someone starting out in recording from a home studio space, this is a good value for the money. I am looking forward to using this microphone across many projects for years to come.

This is a great mic. Super sensitive in it works with all the Rode apps. Makes for great calls on the iPhone as well but you have to use the headphones because iPhone will not let you use the phone speaker with this device plugged in.

A very clear and sensitive microphone, every bit as clear as the Rode NT1 xlr mic I was using, but without all the audio interface complication. A very tight cardioid pattern, it simply ignores most other sounds in the room, I don't even use full sound dampening, just a draped blanket behind me. You'll need to get a better pop filter than the one it comes with. I bought the PEMOtech 3 layer pop filter, and it works like a charm.

This mic rivals my Lewitt XLR mics (with a Motu M2). It's really nice to just have something that records with such high quality that can be plugged in - in just a matter of 2 seconds via USB C. Absolutely amazing for my voice-overs. The Rode Central software is super easy and plun n' go. I'm not a big fan of the aural and big bottom exciters, but the compressor and high pass filter are top-notch. They work at the same time I'm recording using Audacity which is a huge plus. All metal design made in Australia (yes, not China) 24bit 48khz sample rate recording (you don't need more than that) driverless (as far as I am aware) USB C cable is firm and heavy Pop filter get's the job done stand is nice lights up a blue LED on the side that records sound (looks nice) super low noise and high gain (pretty impressive for USB actually) Mid-range is the sweetest I have ever heard for a mic (perfect for voice) I have no complaints. My mic came in damage free, so I am not sure what happened to the other reviewers mics. Not fair to give it 1 star, though. This mic screams quality outside in. The fact that Rode makes this mic in Australia tells me that they are really proud of it, and I can see why. Well worth the cost, as it's a weird mic that is super beginner friendly (it's plug and forget USB) and 'End-Game' (the quality is that impressive IMHO).

I replaced my Roccat microphone with this and although it does not have the same innovative feature set, I am happy with the sound quality and the build quality. I think the price is just a tad too high, considering there is no mute button on it at all. If you have a Stream Deck or a programmable keyboard, you can bind a key to mute it that way. UPDATE: I have noticed when gaming and recording, the quality of the audio is not very good. I am a bit surprised that I have had better sound from much cheaper mics.

Love this plug-and-play mic; I leave it set up in our music room to record and listen to my practice sessions. The mic is a quality, heavy-duty product that seems to be well made. Although the stand is plastic it functions just fine. While it's not the most cheap mic of it's kind, the quality is definitely worth it. Sound is crisp and clear and the mic does a great job of capturing the sound without clipping. Volume and record level are adjustable, and monitoring while recording is a cool feature. I installed the Rode Reporter app on my phone and use it regularly. Not sure why the online ratings in Google Play Store are not great; the app was easy to set up, and using it to record is as easy as plugging the mic into my phone and hitting the record button in the app. The app creates good quality files for immediate playback. Have not tried transferring and editing files yet.

I'm amazed by this thing. Also, Rode customer service is top notch. I haven't had any Rode products until now, but I am now a fan and will be in the market soon and will keep in mind Rode, for sure! I can't believe my phone can power this mic. Functionality is awesome, easy to use, plug and play. Cord length is perfect. Microphone quality is great.

Very solid microphone - comes with everything you might need to start recording your voice etc, and the quality of the recordings are excellent. The microphone is heavy as it does have a lot of metal in it, so if you want to use a boom then make sure it can handle that weight without drooping. The only issue I had with it was the plastic bracket that is used to screw it onto a mount broke - not a huge issue as was able to 3D print a replacement. I judge the quality of equipment not just by the items themselves, but also by how support works. I bought this over a year ago but it was still under its 2 year warranty, and the microphone started cutting in/out randomly. On investigation, it turned out to be a faulty USB-C port. I contacted support and said I was happy to replace the board if they could send/sell me a spare, but they just said to send it to them. Less than five business days later a new microphone turned up, complete with all the accessories including a new bracket. I was super impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of my interaction with Rode support, and could not think of a way that they could possibly improve the way they dealt with my issue. So, the main takeaways are - the microphone is excellent, definitely register the device online to ensure you have that 2 year warranty, and if you do need to contact their support then be prepared to be impressed. I was. :-)

I was hesitant about it, read some recommendations and decided to buy it, and I am happy with my decision: it offers all the features of expensive devices but at a low cost, it is very light, the sound clarity is high, I can connect it directly to my phone or laptop, I learned to use it quickly and now I have a home studio .

Let me start by saying I upgraded to the Rode NT-USB+ from a Blue Yeti microphone. Easy to setup. Software is not my personal favourite but works. I personally use this for streaming and gaming - often chatting with friends in discord who have all said it sounds amazing and very professional. Great background noise cancelling and can be quite easily adjusted using software if needed. Uses a USB Type-C cable connection so can even be connected to many newer android phones, PCs, laptops, and other devices with this connection port. Has a headphone jack which can be hooked up for feedback. Aside from this, not really many physical dials on the hardware itself, but lots of features built in that can be adjusted using the software. Love the premium quality pop filter which comes with it. It works well and gives it that professional studio look. It also comes with a great stand that works well and sits at a nice angle but I have mine on a boom arm mount out of personal preference so I can move and adjust it's positioning with easy. Easy to attach to boom arm, no problems there. Definitely worth the price - comparable to many more expensive microphones on the market. Good value for money in my opinion.
