I have previous albums by this singer, and they are always a good listen. This is the deluxe version, and I cannot compare it with the original version. This has a generous 18 tracks. No doubt it is country. Not sure McCreery could sing anything but country. He has a big voice, a little like Josh Turner but not as big. The songs are more ballad type which is what one would expect from this singer. A few are more pop country but still well within country. Nothing to be skipped over. It is a good listen form start to finish. 'Damn Strait' is probably my favourite track. Maybe not quite as good as his last album and maybe not up to the level of Josh Turber but this is an enjoyable country album with good songs and a singer with a good voice. If you like McCreery or Josh Turner or Strait or the country music of the 80s and 90s, I think there is a good chance you will enjoy this album. Its maybe not great but it is good, and I am enjoying it. Well worth a listen. Good country album.
