Devil Ball Face Angle Trainer - Perfect Your Putting

I recently purchased the PuttOUT Devil Ball Face Angle Trainer and it has quickly become a valuable tool in my golf game. The design is simple yet effective, it helps me to improve the accuracy of my putts by training me to square the face at impact. The ball return feature allows me to train continuously without interruption. The build quality is excellent and it's small enough to take with me on the go. I highly recommend this trainer to any golfer looking to improve their putting accuracy. Five stars!

If you love golf and stink at putting these are for you. They are incredibly frustrating until you start hitting them squarely with the putter. Once you find yourself not being frustrated that’s it’s when you will know you are making improvements on your putting stroke. I really enjoy the immediate feedback these provide.

The Devil Ball works as intended but don't expect the feel and sound of a real ball. If you mishit whether its from face angle issues or from cutting across the ball (a putter slice/hook?), the ball reacts and rolls offline as intended. At 3 feet or closer it is not as effective especially if you normally hit it harder at this distance like you would to take the slope out when you're on the course. I currently use it at 6 ft and 8 ft to get the best results. If you are expecting this to sound and feel like a golf ball, this is not for you. The ball doesn't jump off the face like a real ball and it has a hard plastic sound. I've found drawing a 360 deg line on a ball or coloring half of the ball one color with a sharpie will tell you the same thing and still maintain feel and sound. This is still a fun addition to the indoor putting mat but curb your expectations low handicappers.

I'm a really good putter (absolutely dreadful in every other aspect of golf, but putting, forget about it), but I'm always trying to work on things - getting a more pure roll, removing pulls/pushes, etc. This really helps identify whether you are closed or open at contact, as well as if you are swiping across but maybe squaring up at contact. It took me about 4 days to make the right adjustments to consistently produce a straight, end over end roll without sacrificing technique and doing something really goofy (because standing with my back to the target with a strange grip would always produce a good roll for some reason - though absolutely no feel for distance - that was a strange day). The ball itself is pretty firm and does not at all replicate feel for distance, but once you get your ballstrike square, you can translate back to hitting a normal ball and will start to see pure, end over end, rolls. 100% recommend to anyone trying to improve their putting game.

Fun to get this thing rolling! This thing has helped me get my alignment right on putts, I’ve been rolling it all over my carpet.

Good training aid for squaring face. A lot of bending over. Also, the flat portion of the ball has to be set up perfectly to get a good put.

The ball has to be repositioned every single time before you hit it, which gets tedious.

Everyone knows putting is a key component to lowering your score and turning heads on your favourite tracks. The devil ball is great at correcting the putting plane and ensuring you are addressing the ball with a square face. This correlates to more control and more accurate putts, drastically dropping strokes per hole. I use the devil ball daily to work on my game and it has increased my confidence and significantly decreased “miss- putts”. A must for the golf enthusiast
