Mil-tec Water Bottle With Cup and Cover

Had this product before, will again. I replace the canteen with a nalgene oasis canteen, and have a "better" kidney cup. What's nice about this model is that it all fits properly. Most other kits don't hold my nalgene and a bigger cup no problem. Most holsters can't fit a canteen and cup. This is the one. Now....... If they could just keep the buttons from falling off ...

bottle only leaks if I stupidly don't do up the cap correctly. 100 % leak proof if I'm not daft..... initially the cup was tight to get out of cover, but after use the cover loosened up enough to get inand out easily. little pouch on side handy to store water purification tablets in. 100% happy with this.....every bit as good as ex-army osprey bottle.

It is about 750/800 Ml I would say. So pretty good size for work, or a respectable hike. No leaks and I personally don't notice any funny taste from the plastic ( Seen this has been an issue for some in reviews) Case seems well made enough. The Aluminium mess cup that comes with it is fine. A little tight to get the cup from the case, but I am sure the case will loosen with use. Personally no need for it, and I removed it. The case seems slightly loose with it removed. But no problem. My gut feeling is it could of done with being a cheaper. Not to say I have any issue with its performance, and will be keeping it.

Just received this water canteen. Looks very sturdy. Put water in bottle and there is no leak and water remained odourless. Aluminium cup is well built. It fits very snugly in pouch so takes some effort to take it out. Margins feel a little bit sharp as some one else mentioned it. Overall very good product. Very pleased with fast service.

This seems pretty well made and the material in the fleece-lined holder/pouch is pretty robust. The bottle itself is nice and strong, I worried for ages about whether or not to go for plastic or aluminium or steel, but with this the cup itself is metal so you can still boil water to make safe.and potable (remember to let cool before pouring in plastic bottle and pre-filter with clean handkerchief or clean material such as shemagh. but then use it folded over a couple of times as more porous material). The bottle nests neatly inside the cup which itself fit neatly inside the holder. Actually, possibly a tiny bit too snug as you have to wriggle it out, but the kit is still new so no doubt it will loosen up and wear in a bit over time - no problem tbh and no rattles,The popper closure is good and firm. I do have a few problem with this kit, though... 1. The clips at the rear that would fasten the bottle holder to your belt or Molle is just utter pants, really fiddly and just doesn't look secure. They are quite thin metal slides that locate in a metal holding clip, and seem specifically designed to nip skin. I took of straight away and made a simple lashing rig with some paracord and mini-carabiners. 2. I said above the cup fits very snugly in the holder/pouch. When getting it out I noticed that the edges are a bit sharp. I am not saying you would cut yourself, but it definitely required 10-20 mins attention with a fine file and wet/dry sandpaper to take the edge off. 3. The little pouch on the front of the pouch is actually very small dimension, so really not big enough for a lighter for example. But I'm guessing it's just for sterilizing drops/tablets. I've put a dozen tablets in but it does not seem at all weatherproof with the top fastened down on that little pocket so had to wrap them in a little plastic bag first. It's pretty good kit, the clips on the back of the pouch are rubbish, but the rest feels very sturdy so far.

Great quality bottle and pouch metal cup spot on for a brew or cooking, the pouch is made to a high standard complete with US metal clips to fit a combat belt.

whether your a beginner or a pro to the outdoors, its a no brainer. the canteen itself is surprisingly durable for plastic.

This water bottle is a verey good bit ov kit I play a lot af air soft and I carry x2 of these water bottles and thay can last me a good part of the day. The attachment cud be better like having x1 large belt loop but in saying that I haven't lost any of the 2 waterbottle yot lol

Stiamo parlando di una BORRACCIA (quindi non un thermos) il cui compito è quello di permetterci di avere una riserva d'acqua con noi e sinceramente non capisco le critiche di acquirenti che lamentano che i liquidi si scaldino o raffreddino troppo rapidamente. Realizzata in normalissima plastica che non lascia sapori strani e apparentemente robusta. La tazza in alluminio ci permette, oltre che usarla come tazza per bere, di utilizzarla tranquillamente su fiamme o fonti di calore per scaldare / bollire / sterilizzare liquidi e i manici oltre ad agevolare la presa della tazza permettono di evitare scottature. Il fodero è realizzato molto bene, il materiale è robusto come le cuciture e le clip di chiusura, internamente è quasi una pelliccetta, sicuramente per agevolare lo scorrimento di tazza e borraccia ma che probabilmente puo' fungere da ritentore idrico per conservare piu' a lungo la temperatura della borraccia. Infine abbiamo le due mollette, di buona fattura, che ci permettono di fissare il fodero alla cintura o al sistema MOLLE di zaini tattici ecc. Il prezzo lo ritengo adeguato al prodotto e sono soddisfatto dell'acquisto. Spero la recensione, le immagini e il video siano utili e d'aiuto a possibili interessati ;) Buono Shopping!

At first, I did not want to buy this canteen because it was listed as made of aluminum. After I looked at the details, I found out only the cup is aluminum and the actual canteen is a more durable plastic — exactly what I was looking for! This appears to be military grade equipment and very rugged. Where I’m going, my life will depend on that.

Eine ordentliche, robuste Trinkflasche. Habe zwei Stück bestellt, keine Unterschiede festzustellen. Das Halsgewinde schliesst sauber und der Deckel hält dicht; allerdings sollte man vor dem ersten Zudrehen schauen, das die Dichtung richtig sitzt, sonst ist sie natürlich ruckzuck verdrückt oder verzogen. Das Futteral ist anständig verarbeitet und mit ' Fell' isoliert. Der zusätzliche Alubecher ist mit etwas Geschick und nach zwei bis dreimal leicht zu entnehmen.

Great product,very similar to u.s. canteen but in flecktarn. NOTE:the cup is not a u.s. butterfly handle canteen cup and has shorter handles.One last thing,the charcoal smell and taste will go away after drinking out of this about 3-4 times.
