YAMAHA Hs5 Powered Studio Monitor, Pair

100% beautifully crafted speakers. These things can do great to help people, and are totally worth purchasing. The vibrations and sound are great. (Instead of using balanced TRS cables connected to an audio interface, I recommend trying to use an unbalanced audio connection as well). Get these speakers if/when you can one day, and you will understand more about audio and vibrations. These speakers changed my perspective 100%. These are dope.

I got these for a small, living room setup. These replaced a pair of Presonus Eris 4.5s. This was a HUGE difference coming from the ERIS 4.5s. Straight off I noticed more detail and a wider stereo field. I was able to hear things in my last ERIS mixes that I could not before. I’ve had these for several months now and I still very much enjoy tracking, mixing and listening on these. I drove myself nuts reading reviews and going back and forth between these and a couple of other options. I am 100% happy with this decision. For the room and the music I make which is roots, rock, guitar instrumental and some podcasting they are perfect. I’d probably rate these 4.5 stars but since there are no 1/2 stars I went with 5 because I do feel they are better than 4 for sound quality and performance for price. Hope this helps someone.

Crisp and rich sound, all you expect in this price range and more. Could not find a good solution for stands though.

They get low but you may still need a studio sub. They sound incredible.

I ordered the 1st “pair” on Prime and they sent me a single speaker. I raised a case immediately to get an actual “pair” (two speakers) sent to me and Amazon told me it would be rush shipped since I have prime and also run a studio and needed these right away because I took down my old small near field speakers. I didn’t receive the correct pair until almost TWO whole weeks later! I called after a week to check on the order when I got a notification that there was an “delivery exception” and Amazon said the pair was damaged in shipping and they needed to send me yet another new pair. Ugh. As far as the speakers are concerned, these are excellent monitors though. I had them several years back and “upgraded” to a much larger and more expensive pair of KRK’s but after a couple of years I realized my mixes weren’t coming together as fast or as easy as when I had the HS5’s. I still have the KRK’s bc I like the bass response but the HS5’s reveal so much detail and clarity in the mids and uppers frequencies and are perfect for getting vocal balances. I highly recommend these speakers to anyone especially at this price point but my purchasing experience this time around was absolutely awful so I took off one star.

These speakers are more neutral than a lot of other studio monitors but they do not have very much bass. Not to say it has no bass or anything, but it is very tame(good enough for hip hop, don't get me wrong). I use it for mixing and mastering, as well as basic casual use like listening to music or watching movies. Amazing build quality, very aesthetically pleasing, sometimes more so than some of the super expensive monitors. One consideration is that it is rear ported, so putting them close to walls is a bad idea, but since it's only the 5" woofer version, it should be fine if you give it at least 6 inches.

كانت هناك سماعة لا تعمل نهائيا وقمت بتجربة السلك الاخر للسماعة الاخرى حيث من الممكن ان يكون العيب في السلك ولكن لم تعمل ايضا اما السماعة الثانية فهي تعمل لكن هناك صوت تشويش مزعج

It's a beginner friendly Monitor system for all budjet studio setups..These monitor will give you a very flat response..Which will help you to mix and master your song.. I highly recommend this product.
