The Delectables 14 Multi-Finish Baked Eyeshadows - Long-Lasting Eyeshadows for Everyday (01 Earthy Essentials)

I love Laura Geller products in general, and this is no exception. You get 14 different shades of matte brown in a carboard wallet, with a mirror, inside a cardboard box. The colours range from a soft ivory through to a deep, dark brown, and just about every shade in between; if it’s not there, you can mix it. Initially, I thought each eye shadow was quite small, as the diameter is around the size of a penny, but they’re domed, and as they’re so richly pigmented a little really does go a long way. The eye shadows are very easy to apply, blend perfectly, and are forgiving if you’re not so skilled at applying make up. You can create a subtle every day look, right through to the striking and dramatic smoky eye, and it stays in place. On me, I found that it didn’t cake or crease into my lines, which can be an issue with other brands. In addition, you can extend the usage by adding a touch of highlighter over the top to make it sparkle. I do think these are incredible value for money and would gladly buy again.

This eyeshadow set is fantastic. Half matte and half sparkly. I find the matte finish is great for daytime wear and if you want something more striking for an evening the sparkly ones are more dramatic.

Best make up on the market ..I tried the compact and couldn't believe how good it was ..I now have more or less everything Laura Geller makes ..it is really brilliant .

Arrived opened up and eye shadow broken up, make up powder even on the outside of the box. Sending it back to get my money back

Love the colours in this palette but the disappointment was the mirror was broken. That is why I have given it a 3 . Cannot be bothered to return it so will have to put up with a broken mirror. This wasn’t a cheap item.

Arrived in perfect condition. Was a bit worried about other reviews but mine was perfect! Not tried yet as waiting for brushes tomorrow. Super lovely colours! Can't wait to try!

Beautiful colours and they wear well. The metallic bronze shades are really shimmery.

The product itself is fine! Love LG makeup. These eyeshadows go on and stay on without creasing. I usually apply with my fingertip or a q tip. The problem I have is with Amazon. The first order I received had 3 broken up eyeshadows. So, I requested a replacement. I have to return the original one or I will be charged again. I get that! But, if Amazon would maybe have a system to help prevent this, like better packaging for items that can damage easily, then this would not be a problem. The replacement came quickly but it has one broken eyeshadow. So, that’s annoying. I’ll keep it, because I could end up with mostly broken next time. For the price I should have ZERO broken eyeshadows. I swear I will get my son’s neutrogenia acne face wipes that come in a plastic container and they are packed in so much paper it is like going on an Easter egg hunt to find them! But yet, this eyeshadow that can damage easily in shipping, is just flung in a box ole box with nothing to help pad its journey so it can deliver safely. Amazon, do better.

I recently purchased the Delectables Soho Shimmers eye shadow collection, and this was my first order from Laura Geller. I am very pleased with these baked eyeshadows. The colors are creamy and provide strong pigment without being extremely dark. I especially appreciate that these shimmer shades are rich, blendable neutral and earth tones that do not crease or vanish throughout the day. The eyeshadows are light, and the longevity is impressive as the shadow lasts until I remove it at night. I also like the sturdy cardboard case, the included mirror, and the magnetic closure. However, I do find the shape of the palette somewhat inconvenient. Because it is over 7" long, it does not fit in any of my makeup bags, which makes it difficult to take with me when traveling. Overall, I am very happy with the quality of the collection.

This is my second Laura Gellar palette. I’m a bit disappointed that one of the color was broken in transport. It seems to be a common occurrence, judging by other reviews. Laura Gellar should choose a more form fitting plastic insert, molded to the eyeshadows, instead of a flat plastic insert. I think that would fix the problem. Other than that, I’m very pleased with this. The colors are buildable, which I love. You can go subtle or more dramatic. The shimmer is gorgeous and when the shadow is in the light, it really highlights your eyes well. The colors are also versatile enough for day or evening looks. Overall I’m glad I finally bought this one.
