Keep-It Handy Descaler Tablets All Purpose Pack of 4 x 20g Tablets (Packaging May Vary)

Bought this to clean my Tassimo Coffee Machine it worked a treat, so was on a role cleaned the Kettle and my coffee milk steamer (which I thought was broken...just needed descaling! ) very happy with my purchases and much cheaper than the tassimo tablets would highly recommend. Just remember to put a little time aside as you need to soak the tablets for about 45mins before use.

Does descale and provides a decent amount of removal of the limescale. It did not clear it completely but overall I was happy.

Renewed my old but very much loved kettle! sorted out the limescale. I popped in 2 tablets though at the same time. Boiled the water, popped the tablets in let it dissolve. boiled the kettle water again then left it for 15 minutes to work it's magic. Kettle as new again. and i had heavy limescale on it.

This product is absolutely awful! I followed the instructions to the 'T' and the kettle overflowed, and when I say overflowed, it was more like spewing out across the work surface. Luckily I managed to quickly get it over a sink to keep the damage down. After it had settled down I looked inside but to my surprise (given the reaction going on earlier) the kettle was still full of crusty old limescale. It had barely made any difference at all. I tried once more, this time having part-filled and boiled kettle beforehand and switched on the kettle for 30 seconds to get it going. I repeatedly did this to try to control the excessive fizzing but once again, after all the fizzing had stopped I emptied the kettle to find that it was still, full of limescale. So all in all, this is not only a useless product but it is also damn dangerous. I think I'll go back to buying Kilrok.

ROFL why do they say TABLETS when it is NOT tablets it is actually loose powder in a sealed packet and yes you get 4 per box but apart from that they really do work a Treat at killing off that gunk that builds up in kettles.

These descaler tablets did wonders for my drip coffee maker, but didn't really do much for my kettle (stainless steel) If the reason for that is because my kettle was just too gross and it was covered in too much grime after years of neglect for any product to be able to clean or because these descaler tablets aren't good enough, now that I do not know. But am happy to have a clean and lovely coffee maker once again :)
