After reading the reviews I thought this would be easy for beginners. You need to know the different stitches to do this, so if you've never crocheted before, get some practice first. As for the product itself, looks great. Just a shame I don't know if I'll ever be able to use it.

easy pattern to follow, wool that comes in kit is cheap and nasty, but patterns are great.

I ordered this so I could have a heads start on Christmas gifts. I loved how easy the patteren was to follow, and I will be ordering more sets when they become avalible.

All the pictures in Amazon indicate this would be a US version of the kit, but the box I received is a UK one with UK crochet instructions. Granted can convert easy enough as long as then I am reading the instructions I do not forget DC really means SC in U.S. (same for DC = SC in US and HTR = HDC in US). Other than that kit is as expected. I may update review once I start using the kit.
