Nice sturdy case, clip is too tight
Nice case. A lot sturdier than the one that came with my pump. Had to buy a new one because the clip broke on my previous one (not from this seller). I would have given 5 stars but the clip is so tight it’s very difficult to actually clip it onto anything especially looser clothing. I’m hope that it loosens up in the future to be more practical. That’s my only issue. Delivery was quick even though it got held up at customs for a morning. Thank you

This is my favorite case for my tandem. I love that I can clip it on my pants instead of relying on pockets. It makes it easy to wear a dress or jumpsuit too, as I can easily hook it on the back of the outfit. I did order this as a replacement to my original case that came with the pump because it broke, but I had it for YEARS before it broke. It was a very minor break too, I lost the cover of the charging port and one of the sides cracked a bit.

This case was purchased to replace an original that broke after several years of use. It works just as the original but the clasp is tight and will require some time to loosen up so as to be comfortable for use.

I've used several different after market pump cases and I keep coming back to the Tandem. The other cases would last a month, two or sometimes six before the the rotating plastic clip would eventually break. Other "military grade" cases are more holster like and while rugged, are a bit uncomfortable. There a couple of flaws/limitations with the Tandem case. The case clip is limited to two positions, vertical or horizontal with the reservoir tubing pointed up or towards your stomach or back depending on which side of your body you have it on. This makes routing the tubing a bit awkward at times when you are trying to keep your pump as close to your CGM as possible. The ability to put the pump case in one of all four directions would be really nice. Second, the metal clip is really tight when you first get it and has a tendency to get loose over time, but fixed quickly with a squeeze of a pair of pliers.. The addition of the "plastic bump stop" on the clip is a nice upgrade and helps keep the case from falling off when the clip gets loose. Other than those minor issues, the case protects your pump very well and allows full access to all the ports for charging and changing the insulin reservoir.
