Small hands easy to Fit.
Easy to fit, if you have small hands. From receiving to removing the faulty unit and fitting the new unit took less than 15 minutes!

Very easy to fit
Delivered with the same settings as the very old one that suddenly would not stop flushing, and includes a new flushing plunger for the top of the cistern. No need to turn of the water supply, just twist out the old fitting and twist in the new. Job done in less than one minute. It also comes with a new bottom fitting, but that requires removing the cistern to fit it. No need for that unless that was the cause of the problem. Simple.

I'm not angry
I purchased this valve because the one which was fitted to my brand new toilet system made such a thud when ending the flush that, seriously, one could feel the pulse on my feet! At first I thought that I had done something wrong but then I read several other reviewers who experienced similar problems with their chosen valve/system. I took a chance on this because it was cheap. Good points - cassette feels far more stable - does not rock from side to side - as the one fitted in my new toilet did. Once understanding the instructions the system is flexible regarding water content/flush rate. Bad points - instructin leaflet shows cistern to basin rubber (doughnut) but none was supplied; although to be fair, the advert does not show one. Second 'bad' point is regarding how the flush button works. It is screwed into the body of the valve and therefore if you want to check how the inlet valve float is settling down after initial installation you have to unscrew the flush button all the time. Whether I would recommend it or not depends up how consistent Amazon are with their prices in regards to this valve. I paid about £8, which is more than fair, but when I checked again later it was £18 - and now, today, it is back to £8! Oh, the thud noise has not completely gone but, it is at least 10 times quieter than what I was experiencing!
