Forever Black Bumper & Trim Kit (NEW Improved Formula & Larger Size)

I bought this product to use on my Mini. It's amazing, all of the black trim now looks like new. It was easy to use, the cleaner which you use 1st is simple to use and very effective. You just use the foam pad applicator to paint on the polish. It dried very quickly and has stayed on even after several heavy rain storms. I cannot recommend this product enough. In the past I have used Back to Black, but this product far surpasses that. It lasts longer, does not attract dust and doesn't need re applying every week. You won't regret your purchase. I still have plenty left, for applying again, in the future.

I recently bought an old transit which is Petrol and LPG also ULEZ compliant... it's 2005 so pretty old but has been fairly well looked after, those 3 points alone make it absolutely worth it, as the ULEZ zone has been expanded to where I live.. So at that age, you can imagine the bumpers are looking shabby and have turned light grey. I have just put on the first coat but left a section at the back so you all can see the difference. It's an excellent product. It seems to have gone on pretty smoothly with the foam wipe pad. I may give it a second coat once it's dried. But in my opinion, this is the best. I have bought 2 different products before this one. Not sure if I'll be able to do the whole van with one bottle, so that would be my only tiny negative point. But to get all the bumpers looking like new, worth every penny. Hope this helps someone :)

Used this on the interior and exterior of my car and must say brought it back to looking brand new. As I’m not the best in carrying out any form of DIY on my car, this was super easy and the results were incredible.

I read reviews of this stuff and decided to give it a go, steering away from the "hot air gun" method and wd40 etc. even those cheap back to black sprays. Neither of these last long, neither make it truly black and the hot air gun method makes the plastic look even worse when the effect fades. This was 8 years ago and i buy this stuff every time I change my vehicle, I always buy a cheap and second hand car/van so often spend a lot of time and pride in making them look their best. This stuff is similar to black printer ink, get it on your fingers and it is tough to wash off!! Its thicker, almost like a hand sanitizer gel, but more liquid than a cream so the sponge applicator it comes with absorbs it and even a few drops can be spread very well. It wipes off of metal bodywork no problem. The applicator brush is like a lollypop, a wooden stick and a sponge on the end. My advice - get a small kitchen sponge, the soft side, and use this for bigger trim areas like bumpers etc etc, but when it comes to angles and edges, use the provided sponge on a stick applicator for those, the applicator will eventually break and the sponge will rip if you use it to cover entire bumpers - especially on something like a van. Don't do this on a really hot sunny day, the stuff dries too quick much like if you were to wash your car on a really hot day and the sun is baking your car, the water dries too quick and leaves water marks leaving you with more work to do. This stuff spreads really thinly so you wont see any streaks or whatever, but on a hot sunny day it could dry too fast and you have to go over it again more evenly. Also - don't do this either after washing your car where water droplets will run down, or on a day where droplets of rain or mist can get on it. It doesnt take long to dry (id say about 30 mins!) but any water that goes on it, the water runs down and then takes some of the inky substance with it so you can see where there was water, like leaving water marks on it. Properly clean off any oils, bug guts, tar etc and dry it nice with a paper towel, then apply this stuff so it absorbs to the surface. results can last up to 2 or 3 years in my experience where you begin to notice then.. perhaps could do with another coat. I managed to do all of the bumpers and trim of a vivaro van with still half a bottle left! So really amazing stuff, really nice deep matt black with only a subtle sheen to it, just makes your car look so much sharper.

Hope images help to show how good this stuff is. My transit bumpers were a horrible light grey, pretty faded and blotchy with it too. I cleaned them with the included cleaning agent, then used a normal car sponge to put on the black stuff. Was worried about volume but i managed two coats of both bumpers, and front bumper goes right up to bonnet line so includes most of front - and i still have half a bottle left. This stuff is amazing. I've been messing with cars for over 30 years and never seen something so easy make such a difference. My bumpers look honestly brand new from the horrible mess they were. If you can make out the first picture, look how light grey the front bumper is compared to the black side of van. Now they are black and look fantastic. I did this about 4 weeks ago and no sign of fading or anything. Do be careful not to get it on paintwork. Have a wet rag to hand to wipe quickly as it's harder to clean later but doable. And i used a big sponge, but perhaps get a small sponge like the sort you get for dishes with scourer on back. That would be perfect i reckon. The applicator you get is fine but small fit big areas like mine. I'll be using this forever now. Truly amazing.

I use this stuff every season on my golf cart - renews the look and makes the cart look like new. The first time I used it, I was amazed at how well it worked. I have also used it on my truck's soft tonneau cover - 6 years old and looks like new. Awesome product and works like a charm.

An meinem Fahrzeug sind die Stossfänger leider sehr grau geworden. Das Produkt hat in seiner Beschreibung einiges versprochen, was solls, einfach ausprobieren. Zuerst wie beschrieben mit dem mitgelieferten Reinigungsmittel gründlich waschen, trocknen und danach mit dem mitgelieferten Pad das Mittel auftragen. Lt. Beschreibung soll man es 2 mal auftragen falls der gewünschte Effekt nach dem ersten mal nicht eintritt. Ich habe meine Stossfänger 4 mal damit eingelassen, danach war ich zufrieden. Der Inhalt reicht auf alle fälle nochmal für 4 Auffrischungen, es ist sehr ergiebig.

Most excellent product. It transformed my 2001 Volvo V70 sunburnt, almost bleached, trim.
