This diaphragm inlet float valve is excellent quality and does exactly what it’s meant to do. Installation was quick and straightforward, and it feels solid and durable. The water flow stops cleanly without any drips or hissing, which gives real peace of mind. It’s been running flawlessly since I fitted it, keeping the water level consistent without needing adjustment. For anyone needing a dependable float valve, this is a 5-star choice.

You wouldn't believe what small thing like this can do . There didn't appear to be anything wrong visually with the old one. Our cistern was taking about 30 minutes to fill after flushing. So after watching a YouTube video on our Syphon we ordered these. Fitted in minutes. The Syphon works like new, filling the cistern in less than a minute. Well impressed. Recommended.

This worked, but it needed modification. I'm not sure if these are genuine SIAMP diaphragms. My old diaphragm washer was split (apparently this happens, causing the cistern to take a long time to fill) and I installed the new part. I took care to line up all the line on the white insert with the gap / notch in the valve assembly, and to ensure it was seated correctly before closing the plastic nut. The cistern filled quickly but didn't stop filling when the float arm was raised. I ended up having to take the old white insert (with the pointed cross end, seen in the middle of the rubber assembly in the product images) and using it with the new rubber washer. Once I did this, it worked properly. So 4 stars because I got this quickly and it allowed me to fix the cistern filling problem, but only because I had to use the original split valve for parts. Shame it didn't work right out of the packet....

Toilet inlet mechanism wasn't working - ie not stopping, traced problem to a split SIAMP valve. Took about five minutes to replace. Saved calling out the plumber so is therefore great value for money

Works better than the one I purchased from screwfix. Still working well 1 year later.

I bought some other ones of these that claimed to be compatible that were £2 cheaper, but they didn’t seal properly and made the cistern noisy and vibrate when filling. I bought these ones and they work perfectly, no leaks, no noise, no slow flushing - they just work. Yes they’re slightly more expensive than some on Amazon but please save yourself the bother and just buy these ones if you want seals (bay-ahhh) that just work.

Good quality replacement item, easy fit, just make sure you line up the the notches before tightening it up. Watch ytube vid.
