Love it, love it, love it. Just for the dedicated middle button, this wins all the things. Don't be a gen Z with a gamer's Logitec, be an engineer with the correct tool. Frankly if you're a CAD user, I'm suprised you don't have one already - buy it, it'll change your (CAD) world!

I had no idea a quality mouse could make such a big difference. It's a joy to use. It's comfortable and the customisation options are great, together with the drive software it's possible to assign different functions in different applications. Excellent customer service from 3Dconnexion. The battery was draining quite fast, so I got in touch with support. Within five minutes (literally!) I had a response with detailed (and accurate) instructions on how to update the firmware. That sorted the problem, battery life is now really good. Worked about ten hours with it today and the battery has gone down by about 6%. Re-connection time after being away from the computer is really fast, barely noticeable (when connected via BT).

I spent many years looking for the perfect CAD mouse, as I am a designer and this is my ultimate goal. Where MX 2 or 3 are better suited for general office tasks, especially with MS Excel, nothing comes close to the CAD Pro mouse, and the dedicated middle button is a game-changer in software like PTC Creo.

This is the perfect cad mouse, one of the few mice available with three dedicated buttons and a separate scroll wheel. The only mouse I will use for work. Carry case is very useful and compact as well. Very customisable and very comfortable fr all day use.

Used in 3D CAD and also web browsing. Annoyingly The 2 side buttons get in the way a bit. Eg inadvertently press and suddenly go back to previous page! Due to my ham fistedness. Not tried to disable them in settings but it might be possible. Otherwise good quality kit.

So far so good. Remains to be seen whether the scroll wheel readily fails or it is an example of you only ever hear about the failures. Fingers crossed!

Software kept breaking or not working. Had to replace it Scroll wheel broke. Replaced again. This is my 3rd one. They are not built well in my opinion.

Ich nutze die Maus für AutoCAD und Fusion 360 auf einem Mac in Verbindung mit dem 3Dconnexion Mauspad. Ich bin sehr zufrieden: präzises Arbeiten, umfangreiche, appspezifische Konfigurationsmöglichkeiten, Ultra leichtes Gleiten, und die Maus liegt perfekt in meiner Hand. Ich bereue den Kauf keine Sekunde, und verwende auch für andere Tätigkeiten kaum noch die Magic Mouse von Apple - deren Ergonomie ist für meine Hand eine Katastrophe.

Uso este ratón sobre todo con 3ds Max y la verdad, se nota que está pensado para este tipo de trabajo. Es muy cómodo, tiene buenos materiales y el botón central físico (no tener que hacer clic con la rueda) es un puntazo cuando trabajas muchas horas. Una cosa que me ha encantado es que puedes configurar los botones a tu gusto con el software de 3Dconnexion. Puedes hacer que cambien según el programa que uses, así que en 3ds Max tengo unos accesos y si abro otro software, cambian automáticamente. Súper útil. La precisión es muy buena, ideal para mover cámaras, objetos o hacer zoom con total control. El único “pero”: el precio. No es barato, y si solo usas este tipo de programas de vez en cuando, quizá no te merece la pena. Pero si trabajas en diseño 3D a diario, como es mi caso, merece la inversión.

Trabajo sobre todo en Inventor, y llevo usando este ratón 2 años ya. 1. Al año y medio le empezó a fallar el scroll, así que le puse un encoter TTC Dustproof Gold (9 mm). Aparte de eso no he tenido ningún problema técnico con él. 2. La batería le dura tanto que nunca me acuerdo de cuando lo había cargado la última vez. 3. El botón del medio es el principal punto a favor de este ratón - el que trabaja en CAD sabe lo que se usa. Por muchas luces y silbatos que ofrezca el MX Master, me quedo con este. 4. Los batones del pulgar también se usan mucho, y son cómodos. 5. El botón detrás de la rueda, el pequeño, es completamente inútil para mí está ubicado de tal manera que es imposible acceder a él comodamente. 6. Lo tengo emparejado con el ordenador de trabajo via dongle (allí está conectado también el SpaceMouse), y con el personal via Bluetooth. Uso el interruptor en la base del ratón para pasar de un equipo al otro, y lo hace bastante rápido, sin problemas. 7. Según mi hijo, la taza de sondeo de este ratón es ridiculamente baja, pero yo en mi trabajo (Inventor, AutoCAD, Excel, algo de programación...) no lo noto. 8. Es pesado. No estoy seguro de si es bueno o malo para mí, pero está claro que el bicho pesa bastante, así que tenedlo en cuenta. Al día de hoy, si tuviera que volver a elegir un ratón para mí trabajo, lo vilvería a comprar.
