Bulb Planter Tool Long Handle
Planting bulbs no longer requires you to spend significant amounts of time squatting or kneeling. My back is spared the pain of digging holes to plant tulips, iris, daffodils, and other bulbs thanks to the tool's long handle, which also makes it simple to do so without overworking my other muscles. It offers a convenient reach that makes the planting operation much easier to accomplish. This tool's base has serrations that make it very effective for digging holes in a wide variety of soil types. Because it is both sharp and robust, using it to create ideal holes for bulbs is a fast and easy process. I've used a few other kinds of bulb planters in the past, but this one stands out from the others because of its sturdy construction and its effortless ability to break up compacted soil. Having the handle designed with a soft grip is a really intelligent innovation, as it prevents my hands from becoming tired during lengthy planting sessions. When dealing with heavy and deep soils, having a grip that is both pleasant and secure is very crucial. This is provided by the product. In addition to this benefit, there is a decreased possibility of blisters, which is a problem that often arises with other gardening equipment. Because it is not limited to planting bulbs but can also be used for planting other types of plants, it is an extremely useful tool for any gardener. The depth lines on the planter's shaft serve as a helpful reference to ensure that bulbs are planted at the appropriate depth, which is necessary for good development.

Useful gardening tool!
This long-handle bulb planter is a total game changer for planting season! I’ve used it for tulips and lilies so far, and it digs the perfect hole every time. The step-twist-pull action is simple and efficient—once you get the hang of it, planting becomes almost effortless. I really appreciate the two-pedal design: one pedal helps push it into the soil, and the other makes the dirt plug drop out cleanly without fuss. The serrated base works surprisingly well in tougher, rocky soil, and the powder-coated steel feels very sturdy and durable. Best of all, I can do all my planting while standing upright, which saves my back and knees. The soft T-handle grip also makes it comfortable to use for longer stretches. If you want to add cheerful bulbs to your garden without the strain of kneeling or hand digging, this tool is worth every penny. Highly recommended for both casual gardeners and pros!

worth every dollar
Works well in regular soil and perfect for bulb planting. We'll see how it goes come spring for grass plugs when my clay soil is much softer. (early fall my clay soil is dried out and hard). I'll try after running the sprinkler too. But this is the same for all similar sod coring tools. Otherwise well built, sturdy, and I recommend it.

Handy Bulb Planter Takes the Strain Out of Gardening
This bulb planter tool is a decent option for making quick work of planting bulbs and small plants. The long handle is definitely a back-saver, allowing you to dig holes from a standing position instead of bending over constantly. And the foot pedals help drive it into the soil with your body weight rather than just arm strength. On the plus side, it cuts nice clean holes and the serrated edge slices through roots or small rocks fairly well. The holes are a good size for most small bulbs and bedding plants. And the pedals generally work as designed to release the soil plug. However, there are a few downsides to keep in mind. It doesn't work that well in really dense clay or extremely dry soil - I struggled to get much depth in those conditions. The handle could use a little more padding on the grip too. After awhile, it can start digging into your palms. Overall, it's a handy tool that makes planting bulbs and small plants more efficient if you have a larger area to cover. As long as your soil isn't too compacted, it should allow you to get holes dug quickly from a comfortable standing stance. Just be prepared that you may need to put some muscle into it in tough soil conditions. An affordable option that gets the job done reasonably well.

Very well made
Edges cut easily into hard earth. Foot pedal works great. Wish it was a little deeper but made planting our bulbs super easy.

Takes more effort than I realized but is a great tool!
The bulb planter is easy to assemble and comes with tools to do so and a pair of gloves to boot! I am a slight built older gardener and found that I wasn’t able to sink the tool into the ground by stepping on the single flange it is equipped with. However, I used arm strength and found by twisting and turning was able to lift enough soil to plant the bulbs. It would probably have been more effective if it had two flanges to step on. But, I now have 50 narcissuses planted and am looking forward to spring!

Great product works well easy to use and put together. Would buy again if needed but it’s so well put together I don’t think I’ll ever need another.

Got this to help with planting all my fall bulbs. Was way better than digging the holes by hand. It was easy to set up and worked well. Wouldn't want to use it on super compact soil but we'll drained soil was effortless.

Used on grass. Not very sharp so you have to use lots of force. Foot lever broke very quickly. Does work if ground is very soft.
