A great book to read,

It is a great grace to be able to read from the heart, True Devotion to Mary! A gift from God for which none of us will ever be worthy. St. Louis de Montfort teaches us what Totus Tuus actually means: the complete giving of ourselves and all that we possess interiorly and materially and all who live in our hearts, to Jesus through Mary. This means that with great love and complete confidence and absolute joy, we hand over everything to Mary, so that we become Her property and possession...and then,... we allow Her to mold our lives as She knows best, with total loving trust in Her immeasurable love for us! What will She do? She will gently take us by the hand to lead us on the path of holiness, in a knowledge of Her Son Jesus. And the more we know Him, the more we will love Him and give ourselves to His Will for us, without wanting anything in return, except the joy of knowing that we have let go of ourselves WITHOUT FEAR to Him through Her. Furthermore, She will teach us to do all things IN Her, THROUGH Her, WITH Her and FOR Her, so that it is no longer we who live, but Mary's Spirit alive in us to adore Our Lord.I challenge you all to be brave in love for Our Lady, so that you might receive a joy beyond comprehension in this life. Do not allow the enemy of our souls to tempt you to think that you will insult Jesus by loving Mary too much. No - He is glorified by our love and trust in His Masterpiece, Mary Immaculate, Our Mother and His! No one could love Mary more than Jesus!

Not everyone will appreciate this dissertation on Mary and the catholic faith, but if you are a believer and interested in developing your understanding then it is well worth the effort. I say effort as the writing style is of course dated which leaves it a little hard to digest. i personally find it difficult to read this style of discourse but that takes nothing away from the content and the authors intent. it is a period piece and he was after all canonized. That should put it in context, it is full of revelation for those of us who want to know more about our faith and how to practice it.

This is a powerful true Devotion to our Blessed Mother. One I would truly recommend everyone to do and carry out . One must stay dedicated and focused while carrying it out . But it will be worth it when completed.

True devotion to Mary is by far my number one book! haven't read anything more inspirational and moving as this (apart from the catholic bible).I would truly recommend true devotion to anybody, epically to people who have an issue with praying to Mary.After buying two different versions of St Louis De Montfort I've finally found the one which is simply laid out. You have the main text and information in the front part of the book and in the second part you have the consecration perfectly laid out day by day for you.Everyone should read this and try to complete the consecration.

A wonderful book to say the least;Since the reformation of Christs holy church in England and the destruction of what was a most beautiful legacy brought to this country by Saints. Holy Mary is the mother of God and this book tell's us why. I feel so strongly about how the Queen of Heaven has been treated by those who say that being Catholic is being an idolater. All Church of ENGLAND Churches need to read this book. Thank you.
