Preparation is key: this stuff works.
I use this on my boat cover, which is canvas and very old. I srub it with spirit vinegar, rinse, scrub with pure soap, rinse, allow to dry on its frame, then remove it and treat with this stuff. Duck's backs are absorbent by comparison. Rain forms beads which are blown away by the wind. The fabric repels water so violently that it doesn't even get a little bit damp.

Horse rugs seem waterproof
This is a brilliant product. I've used it in my horse rugs & although we've not had any prolonged periods of rain.... yet, on the face of it they are all waterproof when tested by just pouring some water on.

Great waterproofer
Really great product , used to water proof our tent , very easy to apply with a paint brush , has great coverage , bought the 5 litre tin as tent is huge and still have a 3rd of tin left , would definitely buy again .

Good price
Very competitive price for this well established product. Delivered on date seller predicted but 5 litre can damaged - inadequate packaging. Contents did not leak but degree of can deformity suggested very rough handling by carrier.

Super product, does what it says on the tin.
I mainly use Fabsil Gold Super Concentrate, pay attention to this as there is another version a non Gold not super concentrated version!!!! So this is mainly used on my Cabriolet car roof, I use a mini roller method, in dry conditions. Use 2 coats, and let it air dry in between. I have been using this product for years now, and will be using it on our other car roof too, I have also used in on some outdoor bags I have, ex army bags. You can basically use it on any canvas type material. I will also be using it on my tent when it come out. I do have photos and videos but can’t see how to upload them here, a glitch on the app. Be aware that you will need to clean the product that you are going to coat, like my car roof, I wash/clean it first and allow it to dry before using Fabsil Gold!!! As it stands I would not use anything else. I am also going to use it on some Gortex boots and clothing!!! Please note, as with any chemical or cleaning products, please use eye protection, just common sense stuff.

Used for reproofing horse rugs
Good communication from company regarding packaging. Used to re proof horse rugs. Easy to use. I used a garden spray bottle. Seems to have worked.

Spot on for Audi Soft Top.
I have used Fabsil since 2014 on my wife's Audi A4 soft top, with good results. Looking to restock I upgraded and chose Fabsil Gold, though more expensive the results are better, a lot better. I recoat the soft top about twice a year, with Fabsil it always had two coats. With Fabsil Gold now only one. There is a visible improvement. Fabsil will waterproof, but the results with Gold are far superior and I would recommend it. I got some good advice on cleaning and sealing the soft top from the internet years ago, and followed it religiously and it works. Tools. Plastic bowl . Medium plastic brush. Clean paint brush. Johnsons baby bath. (Its ph neutral and pure soap, just right to wash your baby!) Wet the soft top with clean water. Mix some baby bath in with water in the bowl, then using the brush begin to gently work from the front of the car to the rear and clean the whole soft top. Then hose the soapy water off and keep doing so until it runs clear. Leave the soft top to dry out. When dry use the paint brush to cover all the area of the soft top. Keep some kitchen roll handy for spillages. No stupidly expensive products, good results. Keep the tools clean and away from contaminates and use then the next time the soft top needs a clean, as said I Fabsil the car twice a year. Got mold on the soft top? Use Milton fluid and a tooth brush to banish it, then clean as above. Hope this helps and saves you a few quid.

Amazing
Awning was starting to leak . Looked all over researching many products . Decided to give this a go . No mixing required , pored it into a 8 litre water sprayer and sprayed on whilst awning attached to caravan . Did roof first , blew awning up and did that making sure every bit covered and more on seams. Took less than half hour . Rained later that day and was totally waterproof. Recommend this very much
