LED E14 Small Edison Screw Candle Light Bulb, Frosted, 5.W (40 W) - Warm White

Philips LED's aren't cheap but are the only bulb I've found that matches non-LED bulbs in terms of giving off a natural/soft yellowy light. When I say soft I do not mean dim - these are impressively bright for a 5.5w bulb and we can't see any difference between these and the 42w halogen bulbs they replaced - will buy again! There aren't the only Philips LED bulbs we have in the house - I've never been disappointed with any of their LED's - you get what you pay for!

Firstly I am massive fan of LED bulbs and Phillips bulbs in general. I have never had any issues and as a result I have a Philips LED bulb of different shapes and sizes in every room in my house. The bulbs are manufactured to an excellent standard and touch wood to date I have had no failures. Like most I'm interested to see if these bulbs will actually last 25 years. LED bulbs have dropped massively over the years and on average now cost between £5 and £7 for household bulbs of different sizes and wattages. Overall very pleased with the bulbs.

These bulbs look and feel well made, they are a straight swap and they are noticeably brighter and more pleasant in tint than the 40w incandescent bulbs they replaced. Light is more diffuse too. They work well. Don't get too carried away with energy savings though. Sure, they do save electricity but if you calculate how much you will save, against the cost of the purchase, you will find it is hardly a big deal. Like most LED products though, Philips are doing as Osram and others are and this is MADE IN CHINA. Shame.

Brillaint bright, but soft ligt bulbs. Bough to replace 2 x 3 light fittings with Halogen 40w plkus bulbs - these work great - are as bright, if not brighter and have a nice soft light - first class bulbs so far (need to see if expected life is met) - great energy saving around 240w to 36w for as good, if not better, light. (PS - Updated review as first review was for a different bulb)

I have been looking for bright LED candle bulbs to fit light fittings with relatively narrow glass shades for some time. 12 months ago it was hard to find any branded bulbs with less than 38mm diameter. These bulbs are genuinely the stated dimensions quoted, and have allowed me to switch over 25 bulbs to LED providing significant savings in electricity. The light is bright and evenly dispersed. A great buy at the best price I could find.

Bought these to replace some standard halogen 40w bulbs - These LED's produce a much brighter and cleaner light - soft white with a homely yellow-ish hue. They are at full output instantly with no warming up required. Highly recommended, I'll be fitting the rest of the house with these.

Good neutral/warm light, however the bulb failed after just ~1000 hours - well short of the advertised number.

I was concerned that it would take fifty thousand years to light up since it's energy saving, but it's instant. It makes no noise, emits very little heat and is bright enough to light up my entire room! Great product 5/5.

Muy buena bombilla, luz estable, merece la pena comprar primeras marcas, la uso para leer y ningún problema, estoy encantada.

Ordinate nel primo pomeriggio del 25 gennaio 2016, arrivate nella tarda mattinata del 26 gennaio 2016: grande Amazon come sempre!!! ;-) Ho acquistato 6 lampadine a € 7,32 l'una per il lampadario di salotto dei miei genitori, nel quale erano presenti per la maggior parte delle incandescenti da (credo) 25 W e un paio di alogene moderne da 18 W (circa 23 W equivalenti), che sono andate a sostituire le vecchie lampadine che si erano bruciate. Per la valutazione delle incandescenti sono andato parecchio ad occhio, osservando che più o meno emettevano la stessa luce delle alogene, sulle quali c'erano scritti i parametri di cui sopra... Oltre ad essere esteticamente belle (lo ha detto mia madre, quindi ci si può credere!!!), emettono una bella luce bianca calda (warm white) ed intensa che sembra essere superiore (anche se magari non lo è) come potenza ai 40 W equivalenti e come flusso luminoso ai 470 lumen dichiarati da Philips. Mi hanno anche dato l'illusione che la temperatura di colore non sia di 2.700K bensì leggermente più alta (al di sotto dei 3.000K e non verso il bianco neutro dei 4.000K), ma penso che la causa sia da ricercarsi nel fatto che la lampadina sia tutta colorata di bianco... In parole povere sono molto contento (e lo sono anche i miei genitori) dell'acquisto perché il salotto ora è molto più che ben illuminato rispetto a prima! In seguito vi terrò informati sulla durata delle lampadine.
