Simply perfect
Classic design, manual grinders that you can adjust by rotating the base. They feel just right and are comfortable to just grab and use as you cook.

metal grinds
a lot of high street brand charges you for its brand name but offers you the plastic one. Perhaps it is as good as metal. But when I have a choice, I opt for the metal one. The one I had before lasts 2 decades until it hits stones (my bad, picked up a bag of poor quality pepper).

Nice mills, great to use, potentially fragile (thin) base, so handling with care
There salt and pepper mills. They mill salt and pepper very nicey and seem constructed to do so for a lifetime. The bottom adjustment seems stable and innovative, no more constantly fiddling the the wandering top adjustments of old.One star off though for some minor drawbacks.The hula hoop of wood that is the base and adjustment collar is quite thin and potentially a weak spot. Don't slam these down on the table and expect them to survive without cracking that wooden collar It's a shame this bit of the design doesn't feel more robust.The adjustment range doesn't go quite as coarse as I'd like, neither for salt not pepper. A slight niggle short of a solid recommendation.The top nuts seem inferior painted metal that just doesn't quite measure up to the build quality of the mechanisms. It's a shame. Solid stainless steel or brass nuts with big inlaid enamel black and while IDs would really bring and heirloom quality that's unfortunately missing. As it is they feel compromised by some low cost design choices.Decent, but I expected a tad better

Not impressed
I spent quite a bit on these- and they’re fiddly and too small to use. The setting to adjust the coarseness keeps moving-I’ve gone back to using a set which costs one tenth but does a better job!

Wonderful! I can choose the fine or coarseness of the grind on both the salt and pepper mills. easy to hold while using. I rubbed them with a little bit of mineral oil before filling and using.

Excellent high quality grinders.
These came highly recommended, and they are living up to their name. Excellent grinders from fine to coarse, smooth operation. My daughter and husband are very happy with this gift.Some more modern designs (with equal quality) would be nice.

Style und Funktion in Perfektion 👍
Wir haben mittlerweile 4 Peugeot Mühlen im Einsatz.Es sind unterschiedliche Größen, es gibt mit keiner irgendwelche Probleme 👍Ich würde nichts anderes mehr kaufen. Man kann sie mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen.
