Good useful tool.
Purchased to remove slag on some arc welding I was planning on doing on my narrowboat. Found it also very useful for chipping old bitumous paint, that had dried like a hard resininous varnish, and for chipping rust back before grinding ready for welding.Doesn't break the bank and does more than the job originally required. Standing up to this remarkably well.

WELDING/CHIPPING hAMMER
I like this welding chipping hammer tbf. It does a great job chipping away the dross/slag. I've used it a few times now and had good results. I like one end has a sharp point while the other has a flatened chisel type end on it. Really impressed for the price and I recommend the sellers..

Watch the illustration!
The hammer that arrived was nothing like the illustration. It has a metal handle and is powder coated. That makes it difficult to use as a chipping hammer until you grind off the coating to get to the metal. It chips OK.
