Excellent for using with sugar paste

I bought this to use with my polymer clay as the acrylic rollers made for the purpose were too expensive, and I'm glad I did. This roller does the job perfectly, it is non stick and very easy to clean. If it works this well with sticky polymer clay, I think it would work very well for its intened use with icing and the like, and for the price its worth every penny. As it is only 9" long, maybe not great for the expert cake decorator, but certainly ideal for the ocassional baker, and for any polymer clay artist who (like me) doesnt want to shell out double the price for the same type of thing. Would highly recommend.

I bought two of these rolling pins and I am using one with clay and the other for baking. They are a convenient size and light in weight. My current rolling pin is very heavy and bulky to use so this size is much easier to use and lighter to work with. The circumference is 2.2cm and length is 15cm and it is solid (no hole in the middle) or handles. It is a very plain design and white in colour. It arrived sealed in firm plastic and stapled with cardboard that was printed with details of the manufacture PME Arts & Crafts Stock No PP 85. Made in Taiwan. I used one so far with clay and just washed it out in the sink with soapy water and dried it with a towel. I am sure it is suitable to wash in a dishwasher.

Because I gave a workshop, I ordered some of these rolling pins. I already own some of the original wilton rolling pins. I didn't expect there to be a difference in quality, a plastic pin is a plastic pin, right? Wrong, these pins were scratched on the surface, which can be seen on the rolled fondant. the wilton pin is completely smooth, so it is possible. This rolling pin is 2 pounds cheaper than the wilton pin, but for me it was the wrong choice, because I have to buy wilton pins now too. Funny is also that all these pins have different sizes, about 1 cm difference. One of them is too large for my storing box. Is it handmade?

Good and Solid material, eternal washable for professional and not professional. Little expensive.

This is probably the smallest non custom rolling pin you can get. It’s more non-stick than wood and does not stain or smell. If you have limited prep space in your kitchen or wish to ever travel with some of your (basic) cooking tools, then this size is truly ideal. A dough scraper is a must as a sidekick to go with this awesome little rolling pin.

Un buon mattarello con cui riesco a fare quello che mi aspettavo di fare, non lo uso per cake design ma stendere impasti dentro alle teglie da forno, dove un mattarello di dimensioni normali non risulta maneggevole. Per impasti molto umidi è meglio passare sul mattarello un filo d'olio.

Works really well when baking gluten free bread, doesn't stick nearly as much as before. For those complaining about not being able to use it on big doughs, what did you expect when buying a small roller??
