Flambeau Outdoors - Masters Series Deer Decoy

looks real, had to cut the bottom opening out a little to get the head in and out easier, I had all doe come within 5 ft and were not spooked by very curious. Never had a buck come in on it yet. It does not come with a storage bag, but I used a camo big duffle bag, and it fit perfect. Never had it fall over even without using the spikes to hold it down even in 10 to 20 mph winds, even in high winds i put a heavy rock or log up inside the storage area and it worked fine.

What can I say? The ol gal has lured in several bucks, including a decent Kentucky 7 point last year. Get her scent free, add so doe estrus, and wait. It looks so real at 20 yards that I almost shot it a time or two lol. It's light weight and easy to put together. Can be a little noisy because it's plastic. Just take your time and pay attention to your movement. Great investment if you want to see bucks.

The decoy looked good in my opinion, but when Deer saw it they spooked (especially the doe’s). I hunt in Central Tennessee. As we all know, Doe can be finicky when it comes to Decoys.

I bought this doe deer decoy and it arrived on Thursday. I set it up an hour before sunset on Friday. But didn't see anything. I was too late and made too much noise before it was time to go at sunset. I set it back up on Saturday morning 30 minutes before daylight, around 6:30am. I hung some Tinks 69 on the back leg and a nearby tree, and got in my stand. At 7:37, an 8 point came across the patch straight towards the decoy. He wasn’t being very cautious and was half across my patch before I saw him. I set the decoy about 65 yards from my stand, facing away, with the alert ears on the head. I shot the buck maybe 15-20 yards from the decoy, I believe he was going to get closer and was moving to get in front of the decoy. I am now a believer, after a total of less than three hours of use, I killed a deer. And we have a lot of bucks here, but they are very difficult about coming into this field out into the open. The decoy is shaky when first assembled. I found that putting paste wax on the orange leg locknuts will enable you to do a better job of getting them tight. Also when setting it up, spread the legs for stability and use a couple of wire tents pegs to anchor the decoy in case of wind.

She gets 5 stars because I put her together and stuck her on the back patio to air out and when my wife got home from work she screamed and thought we had a deer on the patio. That made this worth every penny. Have had a few bucks come check her out while hunting, thankfully none have tried breeding her yet. Have used these decoy in the past so I know the material holds up well and it's simple to put together, easy to carry in and out and the color is perfect. This decoy is perfect for those rutting bucks looking for a little whitetail action after a good spray down with some estrous scent.

Couldn’t find one at the big sporting goods stores so I ordered it from Amazon.

A bit loud to set up but looks good when it is.

My only complaint is that you can't buy replacement legs for this thing. When it's the right time they can't not come check this thing out. Last season I decoyed 12 bucks in 2 days with this decoy. Had to get down out of the stand twice to set it back up and fix the legs that broke from them being on top of it. Had to shewww the last 2 bucks away because I got tired of getting down to set it back up. Was a fun 2 days!
