Is this soft enough to make hand or foot imprints?

Probably yes, but you would need larger quantity. You would have to manipulate until soft enough to mould.Good luck

Does it get hard when baked?

Hi there. Yes FIMO soft modelling clay is oven-hardening so it will become hard when baked.
