OK for lightweight items such as DVDs. Not robust enough for anything heavier.
These boxes are not particularly sturdy - the cardboard is only a couple of mm thick and not reinforced. Lids are prone to bending if you put something else on top of them such as, heaven forbid, another storage box. I wouldn't risk carrying anything heavier than DVDs in these boxes, since the bottom is liable to drop out or the handles to rip. OK for lightweight items such as stationery or discs. Not recommended for books or files with lots of paper inside or anything heavier such as crockery. The upside is they're really easy to put together with instructions clearly printed on the rear of the box. The lid has no instructions, however it's pretty self-explanatory - just fold up the sides, bend the flaps inwards, then fold over the edges to snap into place. Seem to hold together reasonably well as long as the contents aren't too heavy.

Boxed clever!
These boxes are not particularly sturdy - the cardboard is only a couple of mm thick and not reinforced. I stuck a load of packing tape over the bottom which helped as I needed to use them for files full of paper and without the tape the bottom would have fallen through. Lids seem even thinner and are prone to bending if you put another storage box on top. They're really easy to put together with instructions clearly printed on the rear of the box. The lid has no instructions, however it's pretty self-explanatory - just fold up the sides, bend the flaps inwards, then fold over the edges to snap into place. Seem to hold together reasonably well as long as the contents aren't too heavy.

but for storing and transporting other stuff they are fine and a cheaper alternative to the heavier gauge stuff
simple boxes, not suitable for heavy stuff (they note 10Kg distributed evenly) so I wouldn't fill them full of books, but for storing and transporting other stuff they are fine and a cheaper alternative to the heavier gauge stuff.Easy to assemble, would put a bit of packing tape on the bottom myself but depends what you put in them.Bought for a house move to pack small and fragile items in, for which I think they are perfect.

Good for the job
The boxes themselves are great - incredibly easy to put together and study enough for my purposes (lots of heavy folders of paper). The lids are a bit pathetic and much more difficult to put together (though when you do 10 in a row you become a master!). The lids are a less strong cardboard and the creases for the folds don't seem to be creased enough so when you're folding the edges aren't always perfect. If the lids were the same quality it would be a 5* product. The boxes are perfectly functional and I would recommend them.

Solid, durable, great value.
I use these to store odds and sods around the house in on shelving at home. Far better than having things loose on shelves. Really makes the place look tidy.I got a 2 or 3 years out of my first set and they were still going strong but gradually getting a bit tatty (from me going rough) so gladly bought some more.Highly recommend durable boxes. Easy to put together to with numbers on the flaps telling you the order.

Cheap and cheerful storage solutions.
Box and lid are easy to put together (they obviously come flat) - folding sequence instructions are printed on the base of the box itself, but not on the lid, bit it's simple to figure out following the fold indents .Don't overload them or inevitably the handle rips when lifting, although they do take a decent amount of weight for a cardboard box. Don't store them somewhere damp. If you're going to do either of those buy the plastic ones. They're perfect for holding all sorts of junk in the loft and look fine for sitting stacked in the corner of the office too (nicer than the plastic ones IMO) You can fold them back flat and pop em out for recycling when finished with them too.

Not very syring but happy with end result
Item arrived on time.Boxes are easy to put together however they are not s strong as I would of liked. I bought the boxes in order to store all our books, unfortunately was only able to put 6 hard back novels in some boxes without them falling through. To combat this I cellotaped the bottom for added security. All in all I am happy, as i would of had to pay double for less boxes , so using cellotape to strengthen the boxes was not much to ask.

Reasonable quality for the price and OK for a light move or storage
These are reasonable quality for the price. You can't fill them with heavy items such as books but are fine for say a few books and then some lighter bits and pieces. They come flat packed and are quick and easy to put together. It is a good idea to put tape the bottoms just to give them a bit of extra support. As some of the other reviewers have said, because they are not super-strong, they are not really recommended for using if they are going to be moved around a lot but if you are just taking things from A to B, or want to use them for storage, they should be fine.
